Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It isn't somewhere you would just stumble upon but well worth finding. There is parking opposite. We arrived on a Friday just before 1pm and it was fully booked. Fortunately we were offered seats at the bar. The 12⬠set menu of 3 courses including wine & water was exceptional in terms of both food quality and presentation. There were several choices for each course and the only problem was choosing which one! Service was swift polite and efficient. The menu was available in English. We really enjoyed everything we ate. The other food we saw being served looked just as good. The value for money is excellent.

We went to buy wine in Capmany and the viticulture advised us to go to Garriguella. Wow - we can't wait to go back already. The midday menu was 12 euros with a fantastic local wine included in the price. I went for the stuffed aubergine which was delicious and my partner went for the empedrat. Luckily I have been learning Catalan for a couple of years so I managed to order in the local lingo - some other tourists came in and two staff helped translate into Spanish and some French- they seemed very helpful...and there are plenty of them too, we counted 5 waiters/waitresses to cover the main resto and all the little adjoining rooms and outside eating area. After that, we both opted for the chicken/rabbit in garlic - again, beautifully cooked and very tasty. For the dessert we opted for the ice-cream followed by a coffee. During all of this we were amazed by the number of people waiting to eat, there were at least 10 at the door when we left. For a small village, the resto certainly has a reputation. The menu at the front door is comprehensive and available in the evening. We will definitely be returning.

Before heading off to the Dali Theatre-Museum, we decide to go for a bite to eat at this charming little restaurant near the museum and the Rambla. As it was a beautiful sunny day, we had our meal on the terrace. The owner is French and this is clearly reflected in the menu. Everything sounded delicious and the plates that paraded out from the kitchen were all tempting. We made our selection from the lunch menu and were thrilled about our choices. Everything was fresh and carefully presented and served. It is certainly in my top ten best lunches that I had during this trip and would welcome an opportunity to return for a sampling of more delicious offerings from the menu. If lunch is this good, I would definitely try this place for dinner!

In Bocam we offer a fresh and creative cuisine, applying global techniques to our local and proximity products. We reinterpret the traditional cuisine from "l'Empordà ", our región, looking for its authentic flavor. We are inspired by fish and seafood reci
Me and my boyfriend booked a table for his birthday dinner. We waited a long time to get a menu and drinks, but they warned us before we were seated, and we still choose to stay there. We wonât regret it, because the food was absolutely amazing (meat rice was my favorite). Even tho the restaurant was busy and only 2 waiters working, they stayed professional and we got amazing service. Best place in Figueres! Thank you Kadi199, for your kind words about your experience in our restaurant. At Bocam restaurant we take very seriously our customersâ opinions, and we are very happy to know that your experience has been "highly recommended". We hope you can visit us again soon and we can greet you personally. Kindest regards and gratitude of our entire team.

We dined in the evening, wanting something more refined than tapas, and we were not disappointed. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful and communicated in French. My wife had carpaccio de Gambas while I had the paté de foie. For the main course we shared a brilliantly cooked and served seafood stew in black rice.We wanted a local wine appropriate to the main course and the recommendation was good and not expensive.

Went here after reading the reviews and was not disappointed at all. Menu is fresh and amazing and very reasonable or the quality. Tempura vegetable starter (beautifully done and not at all oily) and a calamari/potato/salad main and beef with potatoes and a beautiful gravy and 2 glasses wine all for £37. meals were really generous size. Menu is in Spanish but staff made excellent suggestions as we do not speak Spanish. Yum yum yum

A highly popular buffet liure (all you can eat buffet) which caters for hordes of visitors, many from France (including me). There is continuous service from midday, dozens upon dozens of different dishes, starters, puddings, all with a predominantly Catalan cuisine, so lots of fish and seafood. Gourmets can try the various special dishes - snails in a Catalan sauce, stuffed red peppers, razorshells. Trenchermen can fill yer boots. It is a one-price buffet, 16.95 euros Tuesday to Thursday, 19.95 Fridays and 24.95 Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, children have a decent reduction. The wine is pleasant and un-limited. Note that at busy times there is a ninety minute maximum at your table, but I have never seen in enforced.Vegans, vegetarians and gluten intolerance folk can eat well with salads, a few veggie dishes, fruit and baked apples, for example, but the preponderance of dishes have meat, fish or batter. Limited but delicious.Well behaved small dogs are permitted both inside and out.Gracias por su estupenda opinion y les esperamos en otra ocasion

Very lively local restaurant with authentic food. The food was average. However a couple of dishes like the snails and rabbit were good. The service was average, not too attentive.

Nice dinner in the historic interior, with elegant tables. Being in a large group, we had mixed feelings regarding the food. Some of the dishes were outstanding, like a beef tail or fish. The others quite average, like pasta with prawns, or langustine salad. The service and the wine choice were faultless. The place to return.
