Ideal to have a good time to relax and enjoy with the home made food and the lots drinks
We ate both lunch and dinner here, and the food was amazing every time! We tried the burger, döner kebab, ribs and the home made pasta, everything we got was good and thatâs why we went back so many times. The sangria is one of the best in Alcúdia!

After looking for paella at the now closed Lovento, this was the next choice. The seafood paella was really very good, although I would have preferred the no "ciega" version with all of the prawn heads and shells as this is all part of the experience.I guess they do it this way for those that don't want to get their fingers dirty.Dear Mark, Thanks a lot for coming and sharing your opinion on this website! We are happy to receive your positive comments of our seafood paella. For the next time, we prepare it ciega and normal too ;)Have a wonderful week!

This restaurant was right next to our hotel - Petit Hotel Hostatgeria La Victoria. Due to the weather we didn't see the great views. It looks like it would be heaven at sunset. We arrived quite late but were given wonderful service from the kind lady. The croquette starter was superb. Very good quality, in fact the best croquette I had tasted. The main of Fish a la mallorquÃn was very tasty. The veg just made you want to savoir every mouthful. The suckling pig was basic but nicely cooked and tasty enough. I guess I would have liked a sauce of some kind, but I am unsure of the traditional way.I think I could have had 2 courses of croquettes ;-)

We took our time walking around Alcudia as we wanted to try real Mallorcan food, (well I did at least!!!).It was only just after 6 o'clock when we found ourselves at Can Polit and with very few others there we were quickly shown to a shaded outside table. Our drinks order arrived very quickly and after a browse through the menu I decided to try the Pa amb Oli. It is a traditional Mallorcan dish of Mallorcan bread covered in a layer of olive oil and tomato sauce. It was topped with Pork medallions and onions etc. It really was delicious, the only question was whether to go for the smaller or larger helping. The smaller was two pieces of bread whilst the larger was four. I picked the larger but it was a bit of a struggle towards the end, Three pieces would have been enough I feel.We were impressed by the waiter who spoke Spanish until he realised we were British and then he carried on a conversation in broad Scots!!!All in all it was a lovely time to be at the restaurant as by the time we had finished it had become quite a busy place.

On some web sites, this restaurant is also called Sa Portassa de Ca'n Costa
Reservations are highly recommended. When I arrivef there were only two tables that were not reserved. The tapas were delicious and filling and the service was great. I eould eat there again if given the opportunity!

The architecture of the restaurant is typical of the Mallorcan Middle Ages with high ceilings and arches, while its interior features antiques and museum pieces. Enjoy its menu sitting next to the fireplace in winter or in the courtyard in summer. The res
Could not fault this place. Beautiful surroundings, amazing food! Ordered the bread & olives, mixed pealla (soo tasty & fresh) then the traditional almond cake. Gorgeous restuarant, lovely atmosphere. Attentive staff. Wine delicious. Highly recommend for a traditonal Spanish evening.

A beautiful restaurant with calm atmosphere, lovely service and delicious food. A big plus for a menu in so many languages :)We loved sangria and tapas. And the tasty paella was so huge that 10 hungry people couldn't finish it ;)
