My husband and I ate here with friends. It has a good ambiance and the service is great. We ordered the ackee and saltfish and brown stew chicken. There is a little wait time and that is too be expected for their Sunday brunch. If you enjoy Caribbean/ West Indian meals this is the place to go when you are in Queens. We will definitely have brunch here again when we are in New York.

Great Food Great Vibes- they have the best Sunday Brunch!! I bring family and friends for Brunch with American and West Indian Flare! Great for Birthday Celebrations! In addition, when friends visit me from out of town bringing them here is a must! There is a room in the back to accommodate larger celebrations and when dinner service has concluded in the main dining area, the DJ spins music and mingling/ socializing makes for a perfect ending to a great Brunch or dinner date out with family, friends or a significant other. I come again and again and am never disappointed.

I have been here before about a year ago. Nice atmosphere, clean lines. The problem is in the portions we were served, they're a bit small. Not sure if 'family style' is a relative term. My family needs more food. A few of us weren't able to sample the appitizers served. We had to share the dessert with our other table. Individual portions, while tasty and well seasoned, were not large enough for most of us.(maybe we eat too much) Perhaps this a forced diet move. Maybe the portions were average size, and we were looking for diner size. This was memorable from the last visit as well. Might go back with one other person, never more than 5 persons.It's great to hear the atmosphere and food itself were impressive, Francine, but I'm sorry if the portions weren't what you were expecting. It's true to say that we don't prepare our dishes to accommodate more than four or five in a family, so that may be the issue here. We'll keep this in mind, though, and we'll check to ensure the waitstaff is helping out when you're making your orders.
