You go here for the view, but the food is excellent. I had the Trout in Coconut sauce, it was either deboned perfectly or some magical boneless small fish... Cooked well and extremely tasty. Everyone loved their food and the view is unmatched! Make and early reservation and ask for a good table!

I've the opportunity to visit a few restaurants in Jarabacoa but we keep coming back to Barak Restaurant. Not only the food it's great and affordable but the service is amazing! Enjoyed a Churrasco Steak, a thin rolled out steak with a sauce. Asked for it Med Rare and was done to satisfaction, not easy on a thin steak. An open concept restaurant but good choices on the menu. As with most restaurants here the sides were extra after the first. A nice Caesar salad had chicken included. An order of Ribs was priced reasonably and although not much sauce it was well flavoured. Would return.

I really recommend this place if you want feel the nature. The view from my cabain was amazing. The owner from this place can help you a lot, whatever you want. You can use the pool, you can walk around and you will be safe.

We stopped off while exploring the area and found a hidden gem in the works. The Hotel/BB is still being renovated but what they have done so far is terrific. After touring the property we stayed for lunch and we were not disappointed. It was one of the better meals we have had in a while.Junior went out of his way to make sure we had what we wanted and explained in detail what was offered. The food an service was excellent. I had some of the best BBQ ribs I have had in the last 9 years of living here. Others in our party had chicken fingers (best I have tasted) and an eggplant Parm which also was excellent.
