Our diverse selection of rustic style dishes takes advantage of the wonderful produce this area has to offer. Chef Paul Tobias shares his modern spin on classic comfort food and the result is delicious! From the farm, dairy, bakery and winery right to you
I enjoyed a great lunch here with my family. We sat on their patio draped in vines and it was beautiful. To eat I had the shrimp sandwich and it was delicious! I read about this spot before our trip and saw that it turned into a speakeasy at night. Next time we are in Picton I'd love to check it out!

We are a neighbourhood spot, working hard to bring you seasonal market cuisine from our local farmers and bringing good people together to experience the best of our hometown.
Disappointing. We love brew pubs. This isn't one unfortunately. There were 5 craft beers on tap. The one we wanted was sold out. The one we sampled was not good. We ordered a charcuterie board. I am confused by pickled vegetables that have both the root and the stalk still on them as a pickle. Why can't you cut them off, I had to. Oh. and the carrot still had dirt on it. The smoked meats were good but why is there no cheese?
They were set up outside of Keint-He Winery when we visited there. They had some interesting options. We ended up settling on the collard greens and beans as it was one of the only vegetarian options. It turned out to be something substantially more than we had expected. It was collard greens and other veggies (peppers, etc) on a bed of rice and beans, topped with a couple of poached eggs. It was perfectly spicy and quite filling. Everything was cooked together perfectly. We really enjoyed it.
Organic Grocer. Fresh Juice and Smoothie Bar. Breakfast and Lunch counter. Gluten free, Vegan options!
As a little reward for our 7.5 km walk, we stopped in at the Good Place for lunch. I had a grilled cheese sandwich (sprouted grain bread) with avocado and a side kale caesar salad. The dressing on the salad was terrific. The sandwich was even better. I could have eaten another one or two or three or....more it was so good. My partner raved about her salad bowl. Of course the coffee here is terrific....even though they try to not 'advertise' their coffee. So, two lunches, an Americano decaf and a muffin for $25.00 or so. Great food at a great price.

For the first time I am reviewing a restaurant where, try as we might, we did not get to eat! Yes, it was the long week-end and we expected places to be busy. Nevertheless, four people, two of us County residents, said that if there was a table we were willing to wait for a meal as long as we could order drinks and maybe a snack. The person at the door said that yes, there was a table, but we would have to wait at least an hour for our meal. And, no, there were no snacks, not even a bowl of chips. Her message, delivered in an unfriendly even hostile manner, was "buzz off"! I understand that a busy night in summer could cause tempers to fray, but we will all think long and hard about returning to this restaurant, even though it is in an attractive location. In the end, we took the hint, drove on to Bloomfield where we had an excellent meal on a breezy terrace, warmly welcomed and well fed.

We were invitedout by a neighbour for breakfast. The staff are super friendly, the service was quick and the breakfast was excellent. I had 2 eggs easyover, three sausages, homefries, toaste and coffee. All were prepared to perfection. The homefries has a very nice spice on them. My plate was so clean they could have reused it. Lol my wife had the omelet. It was very big but a bit dry. A little melted cheese would have taken care of that. Definately will be back.

We were pleased to hear about Drake Devonshire while touring Prince Edward County. Fortunately they were able to fit us in on a busy Tuesday evening. The ambience is very pleasant and the menu offers an interesting range of options for all tastes. From our perspective the gazpacho was excellent (although more spicy than expected); the lamb shoulder was very tasty (although too many potatoes); the steak tartare was good (but not very tender); and the tuna ceviche was nicely presented. We were surprised to be charged (albeit a small amount) for extra crostini! Our server was very professional and friendly. The wine and drinks menu is excellent. Overall, a good experience and we would go back. Just a few disappointments. Reservations are recommended.

This started out ok. Nice spot, fairly busy but still had empty tables. Our server Steph, was friendly and had all the answers. Drinks came fairly quick and orders were taken. 40 minute wait until food started to show up. 3 zucchini soup that were just ok for 21$. Didnt even think to check price on soup, nothing cheaper than zucchini. Moving along at about hour most of the mains showed up except my sons pizza that was another 20 minutes. Most of us had finished by then so he eat along and feeling like he was holding us up. They did take it off the bill thank goodness because I would not have said for it. More crust showing than toppings. 3 and 4 inches of bare crust in spots. Lowry he never finished it. My $18 cheeseburger was good but that's about all I got on it with some shredded lettuce. No tomato, no pickle no mustard. Fries were tiny little piece's, tiny! My wife had hotdog was good. Daughter had pulled pork on corn bread and it was very good. Over all wound not go back. To slow, to expensive for the food. Need to work on expediting, everyone should be served and eat together. Disappointed for a $140. Lunch with tip.

A Petite Cafe in the heart of Wellington, PEC serving light breakfast, sandwiches, incredible pastry & breads and traditional Italian coffee; all influenced by the rural cafes of France and Italy
Enid Grace is a bustling cafe which offers very limited seating space inside and outside but which presents quality freshly prepared meals that are healthy, tasty, and filling. Get there early, as this cafe is extremely popular with locals and tourists alike, and the choices will be more limited as the morning wears on. There is a takeaway option as well. The prices are high, but so is the quality. Superb coffee. A Mediterranean vibe.

A beautifully decorated restaurant in a charming 160 year old building featuring elevated comfort fare made from locally sourced ingredients pared with the best of County wines.
We returned to East & Main recently, after eating there in the summer, when our experience was not good. Our group of six couples had a âforcedâ reservation for 8pm. They wouldnât accept a 7pm reservation, even though we attempted to book two months ago. Overall, the service and food was very good. Meals were hot and well prepared. The favourites among our group was the lamb shank and steak & frites. We are glad you enjoyed your dishes and service. We work hard to create a balance so that our customers are satisfied and the kitchen and staff is not overwhelmed. That pace is very important to our customer service.
