We came to Cedar Grill after reading reviews and eating at Frankies the night before. Wish we had come here first!! The servers were very friendly and helpful. The pricing is excellent and the food was super! We had a braised lamb shank and home made pasta with the seafood pasta. Food was excellent and a bottle of BC wine very reasonable!!! Took home extra for breakfast. Thank you Chondra for helpful, friendly service AND very comfortable booth seating.

The waiter made no effort to seat us. Cannot comment on the food but our group went elsewhere. The hotel recommended we goto the Floathouse and that was a bust. Not a great first impression for tourists.thank you for letting me know! sorry you didn't have a chance to enjoy our food. we have a hostess on every nite , that is why we have a -Please wait to be seated sign right up front - our servers are really busy , and its not their responsibility to seat guests , however the waiter should have at least mentioned that the hostess would be with you shortly. Hope you had a great stay in Ukee !!

Chef Owned And Opperated. Can Be Found In The Heart Of Ucluelet`s Historical Harbour. Or Just Ask Anyone On The Street.
Over and over we heard some of the best coffee in town was had here.Unfortunately not this day.The shop was not at all busy when we were there. The young lady behind the counter was very sweet.....but clearly not well trained, which would not be her fault or didn't care, which would be her fault.I cannot say which one was true.Even the other staff person there that day said to her while making my coffee, "You're doing that wrong" .... but didn't seem to want to show her the correct way.Mediocre at best.Based on many reviews we know they can do better.

This is a small restaurant that has some outside seating and located in a house. The restaurant has about 5-6 tables and an open kitchen. Chef does up a special every night. We had a pasta and pulled pork dish one night. Service was excellent with two serving ladies who were very friendly and provided lots of information about the menu. Enjoyed the pasta although the pulled pork was more like a pork sausage. Enjoyed the meal so much went back a second night and had a chicken curry. It was well presented and had excellent flavour. Would order again. Has limited selection of beer and wines. Atmosphere is great for couples or friends having a good time.Would return to this restaurant if back in Ucluelet. I am glad you found us and had a great time. Please come say hello if you get back to Ukee!Ian

The Blue Room, A West Coast Bistro is loacted in the heart of Ucluelet. We have an amazing view of the harbour, which is even more spectacular from our large patio. Enjoy all-day breakfast or lunch starting at 11 am and join us for Dinners starting at 5pm
We needed some sustenance before our Wild Pacific Trail hike and this spot fit the bill. After a not unreasonable wait we were finally seated and orders promptly taken. I selected a full meatless breakfast which was perfect...no scrimping at this restaurant! The small cafe setting was quaint and appropriate for the food on offer. Except for the light rain the small area of outdoor seating would have been nice.

At Frankieâs Resto-Bar we donât over complicate things, so come pull up a chair and feel right at home. An awesome meal your friends & family will love. Great Harbour views & outside seasonal patio. Best rotating beer tap on the entire Peninsula. Award wi
We stumbled across this venue through Trip Advisor. Ratings were excellent. The food was awesome. We had the rib eye steak and shrimp risotto which we shared. This was a 14 oz steak which is why we decided to share and have an added appy. The server was friendly and helpful. Would have given a 5 but was expensive considering we shared an appy and entree, had 3 glasses of wine total with the house white and paid $128 with tip. We live on Vancouver Island and have eaten at many West Coast Venues including the Wick in Tofino so have a sense of comparables. We got there early but there were line ups by 630. Bottom line:awesome food, limited ambiance but expect to pay.

We stopped here for pizza on the evening we arrived in Ucluelet. We should have called ahead, because there was about a 40-minute wait. We hung around, and eventually our pizza was ready, and it was really exceptional; worth the wait. Note: they only take cash, and only soft drinks are available. At least half the business was take-out. You order at the counter, pay, and then they bring your pizza to your table when it's ready.
