A cozy little nook in the heart of Stratford. Come and experience good home cooking in a friendly environment. Great Staff and Great Food.
This diner is the perfect place to have breakfast. They have lots of different options. There prices are very reasonable. I did had breakfast here almost every day when I was in Stratford. I didnât care for the home fries but the eggs, toast, sausagesy and pancakes were delicious . It was very clean. Joes Diner is very busy especially on a Sunday. You may have to wait in line. Service is fast and friendly. I recommend eating here. I will come back and eat here again.

We (family of four) stopped here before a 2 pm show at the Stratford theatre. It is excellent in terms of homemade, honest and delicious. There are many soups to purchase from their freezer, at least a wall full of options. However, the freshly made soups are limited by what they post (about 5-6). We ordered the grill corn, gazpacho and vegetarian chili. All were delicious, but the grilled corn was the winner in our family. It is a small operation and limited seating. However, the owners were gracious and accommodating to put out another bistro table for us - shows caring to their customers. Pricing is reasonably priced (compared to the big city down the road). As well, I think it is run by just two people who are either cooking/serving or taking orders/cleaning up. They are running around making a success of their business and it is worth the wait.Thumbs up!

Got ton tell you that this was the first restaurant that was recommended to us 15 years ago. We have gone there many times since. But this time was the best of all. We selected the "Food Fight" (Tapas like) and it was great! We were greeted by Sam, seated and handed menus. Sam could not take a drink order, high school junior) but did a super job. Adele was our server and made excellent suggestions and cogent comments. Alice was a food mover with style.Overall, the best meal we have had in a long time.

We ate here three mornings because it was right around the corner from our hotel. Omlettes and eggs benedict were good but the place was seriously understaffed. All three mornings there were two waitresses for about 35-40 patrons. As a result, service was painfully slow. This was high season in a tourist spot so surely management knows that breakfast will be busy. Breakfast with tip about $16-18.

We dine here every year. Reneâs has a limited but varied menu, great service, and wonderful preparation. There are always 4 or 5 different mussels options, all of which are good. This time we also enjoyed the spectacular chicken curry, highly recommended by the way. We are always surprised by the value we receive for the price. We love this small gem.

Greek cuisine is renowned for its fresh, healthy ingredients and simple preparation. Located across from the city hall and steps to the Avon theater and other shops in the downtown core.
Piaza Bistro undertook to serve us quickly so we could make a 2 pm curtain at the Studio Theatre, and they delivered. Their pizzas â we had three different kinds â are very tasty. So are their salads. Definitely recommended.

We happened to get a parking spot right in front of Sirkel so we gave it a try. We started out with a bowl of vegetable soup that was brimming with fresh veggies. It was served hot, not just warm, which is a must for us. We then split a turkey sandwich. The bread was fresh and homemade (not sure if they make it at the restaurant though), the tomatoes were fresh and so delicious. Cheese is always fantastic in Canada. We then split a gigantic date bar. It was so good it inspired me to make them when we got home. Highly recommend.

Very attentive. Tasty food. Great service. Hippie Bowl was delicious with grilled chicken. Crunchy chick peas and crunchy kale added a tasty contrast to the to the fresh carrots beets and arugula and warm wild and white rice. Delicious lemon tahini dressing pulled it altogether. Rigatoni with sausage and pork and beef was very good.

We are a worker-owned restaurant focused on sourcing the best products, serving up an eclectic mix of items that are based on comfort food flavours with a touch of sophistication. Join us all year round!
We enjoyed our third dinner in three years here; last year the menu seemed lackluster if not repetitive of the previous year; this year we found new dishes to enjoy, including the delightful sausage and quirky and well flavored duck. Raspberry pie was rich and the raspberry sorbet with it was the perfect accompaniment. We always enjoy the service (Dan).
