We ended up eating for an additional 90 minutes for the ferry to arrive, so we decided to eat a late lunch/early dinner. I decided upon the special which was a salmon burger with fries and a salad or soup. I opted for the salad. I am not really a huge salmon fan, but in the land of the freshest fish ever - I went for it. I was not disappointed. It was very good and I would get it again.

The Great Viking Feast Dinner Theatre

The staff do a good job of getting everyone into the spirit of the Norse 'thing'. They are enthusiastic and funny. The food is adequate for such a large group - roast beef, moose gravy, salad, Jigg's dinner, fish & brewis, shrimp fried rice, baked cod and rolls. On the table is cold cod tongues - tasty and dried capelin - good - if you like that sort of thing (they are small and crunchy.) The dessert is supposed to be rhubarb crumble... but it is more like a rhubarb cake - still tasty. The important factor to determining if you will have a good time, is in the audience participation - if you or some others can pull off some funny accusations/counter accusations (without too many inside jokes) that can get the entire place laughing and table pounding - then it will be fun - noisy, but fun!So if you are going with a group - be prepared. It is dark and noisy - so not really good for older people with hearing aids. The seats are not comfortable and people in the back cannot see or hear very well. Might be an idea to get some microphones.Have a few laughs!

We stayed at the attached motel. So, in the morning we had breakfast here. Reasonable prices, quick service. Can't vouch for lunch or dinner, as there are superb choices in the area. But for breakfast, this fit the bill to start our day. Food was tasty, just not remarkable.

Jungle Jim's is a restaurant chain. They recently added a location inside the Hotel North in St. Anthony. Swing on in and visit our Location Today!

This chain is probably our least favorite in Canada but this location was really quiye good and it was in the hotel (Hotel North) that we stayed in so it was a logical place for breakfast on a wet day. Prices were reasonable, service was fast and the food was good.

Since we couldn't find a good seafood cafe to eat at in St. Anthony, we stopped at this quick-serve fried chicken restaurant. The reviews are correct: the chicken is very good. Good fries and gravy, too, and they had a reasonably-priced family deal. Friendly service. I'd certainly recommend Flavour Crisp for a fast and tasty lunch.

It's a small restaurant attached to the hotel and was busy/steady while we were there. Nice selection of cheaper options and full dinner options.i choose a lighter dinner of seafood chowder and BLT. Chowder was excellent. The BLT was cold but just ok. My wife had a large salad which was what she wanted and was good. My son had steak sandwich and a salad and he enjoyed it (cooked perfectly). Dessert was a berry crumble which was tasty but quite different than expected. The apple pie was not home made.Service was fast and friendly.Great views by the window.Recommended

We stopped in St. Anthony while on a cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very small town but extremely friendly and welcoming people. We hiked our to the lighthouse point and enjoyed a terrific lunch at the Lightkeeper’s restaurant, that included a beautiful unobstructed view of the inlet and lighthouse. Very fresh chowder and the fish and chips were excellent as well. Worth the effort to make the hike!
