Had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Chef Big D's. Nice varied menu with something for everyone and really reasonable prices. Food was nicely presented. Service was unbeatable with a warm friendly atmosphere. The open concept allowed you to see that everything was neat and clean. If you are in Squamish, make sure you stop in.

We were en route to the big city, when we decided to stop for our first meal of the day. It was 12:30, and we were all getting cranky and restless.Mary Ann, our server, was very sweet and attentive! She really took care of us. The food was great, but her cheerfulness and kindness to my big family of 17 hungry diners made our White Spot experience very memorable. Three cheers for Mary Ann! Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

Step inside the backcountry and share some good times, great food and amazing beer. Take a growler to go or stay and enjoy the pizza, salads, sausages and snacks from the Backcountry Kitchen. This is a great place for families to enjoy and after 8 pm we d
Iâve heard a few times previously about this brewery and even tried one of their IPAs in a taphouse in West Van, so was lucky to visit it traveling from Whistler. Interior is excellent, and it seems like this place can host a reasonably significant amount of people. Great choice of IPAs on the menu, and thereâs plenty of food to choose from. I decided to try all of the IPAs on the menu and generally was satisfied. Dead of Night Galaxy and Widowmaker stood out for me. I felt like in Double Decker Couch hops didnât cut through enough and taste of alcohol was a bit too strong, even though it wasnât the highest one in ABV in the whole list. Prosciutto pizza came in a decent portion, I thought it was a tad bit too salty but went perfectly with a beer, not sure how it would play out without one. Overall, everything aligned well for me, and I enjoyed my stay in this brewery. Thanks for coming!

The restaurant looks impressive from the outside. Something like local rustic restaurant with hidden value. But didn't turn out that way. We had two dishes, one was fish burrito, which wasn't bad, but nothing special. My wife had what was supposed to be a mild coconut curry dish, which turned out something to be tackled by a hardened East Indian. Overspiced, rough, not tasty, we basically left it. On a inspiration I asked the waitress if they had an East Indian cook - and sure they have. The place also had this kind of impersonal feeling - polite, but just doing a job. This Man made racist comments about our kitchen staff, take this review as you wish. Our food is authentic, enjoyed by thousands, vast majority consider it amongst the best Indian food in the lower mainland, this bigots opinion means nothing.

Stopped here en route to whistler not realizing we were in Squamish already. The place has an authentic vibe. The 2 piece cod was plentiful. The fish was spectacular, a nice light breading and the chips were high quality too. Also enjoyed the chowder as a started. Quick and friendly service. Definitely worth stopping in!

After checking out the fine town of Sqaumish and it's gritty harbour en route to Vancouver we decided to follow the recommendation of a local from another town (I had previously sampled their fine beer). The brewpub was large and they took no reservations so we waited only briefly for a patio table. The waiter was excellent. He was genuine, attentive and quick. Appeared to be a university student. We ordered seafood and enjoyed it immensely. As I was driving unfortunately had to pass on their beer. They produce a fine Brown Ale.This is a restaurant I would return to ever lucky enough to be in this town again. We did not stay in the noted hotel in this review.

Disappointing breakfast. We ordered Eggs Benny each, there are two kinds only, with bacon or with avocado and tomato. I had the avocado and tomato. It was quite sour tasting (too much lime juice?) and the avocado was brown. Had to scrap it off. Ordered an orange juice and it wasn't real orange juice but an orange punch type drink. For $3.75 it should be at least real orange juice. Disappointing. The view is nice there and lots of potential but they don't seem to be making much effort for quality or cleanliness

We visited twice last month whilst staying in Squamish. My young daughter is a coeliac so we enquires about gluten free options before being seated. It was not a problem - it was fantastic! The servers were clued up about what she could have on the menu and didnât make us feel like we were being awkward. I was so grateful. The food is great. My husband was a fan of the po boy with dipping gravy and I recommend poutine with brisket! My son loved the chicken and ribs and our daughter was so happy with her gluten free burger. The place had a very cool vibe, some great ales and I sampled the cider! Next time we are back in Canada, I hope we can return to Squamish and The Copper Coil!

A celebration dinner for 6. Great to enjoy such a variety of small, sharing plates. Excellent bread; warm olives; tomatoes with creamy buratta cheese; albacore tuna and scallop ceviche (which was "melt in your mouth"). We then moved on to Zucchini blossoms, spicy fried cauliflower, Sockeye salmon and steak...all delicious. Service was attentive and responsive with special care given to one of us due to severe food allergies. A welcoming, friendly, environment with a commitment to first class food. If you are in Squamish make sure you book a table here.
