Pasha Pizza

Reviewed By NoshTraveller

I tried this place twice. Once for pizza, the second time for their East Indian food. The pizza was below average. Cardboard-like crust, very little cheese and minimal toppings. I think it's the only place in town to serve pizza, so the expectations are low. I tried the chicken curry combo on another visit. It came with rice and naan bread. The portion size was quite big. It had a decent amount of chicken breast and the flavour was average. Nothing spectacular here. Of course, I wasn't expecting much, since very few people seem to order from their Indian side of the menu. I wasn't expecting it to be made fresh. What surprised me, was that the naan was prepackaged and store bought. It was warmed, which made it palatable. I guess that is a tell tale sign that they don't serve much East Indian food here, otherwise they would have at least made the naan fresh on site. It scared me to think how long my chicken curry was sitting in the fridge/freezer before I ordered it. Anyways, it's an ok pizza/East Indian fix, in a small town lacking decent options.

Billy's Family Restaurant

Reviewed By Michelle088

After spending a night in Pemberton we were looking for breakfast, and Billy's was recommended to us by some locals. We were in the mood for a bacon and eggs type breakfast, and Billy's was the perfect choice! Our smiling and efficient waitress pointed out that the kids' breakfast ($5.45, I think) was for anyone with a smaller appetite, so that's what my mother and I ordered. My husband ordered a regular bacon and eggs combination. Our kids' breakfast was fantastic! Nothing like the measly little breakfasts offered by some well-known chains - this one had one egg, lots of bacon, lots of hash browns, and toast. The egg and bacon were cooked just as we had asked. My husband was really happy with his breakfast as well. This was easily the best breakfast of our trip; in the future I'll always try to be in Princeton in the morning, just so we can indulge ourselves once again!

On our way from Penticton to Manning Park we went here for lunch. On our last stop in Princeton the restaurant was closed. The interior has received a complete wall to wall, floor to ceiling retrofit and its refreshingly modern in design. We ordered cheese burgers for lunch, one with fries the other with salad, The burgers with a 6 oz patty were very good. Would have been better if the patty had been flattened a bit more. The fries are hand cut and perfectly cooked. The salad was huge and could have had a bit less romaine lettuce. The restaurant offers a few beers on tap (did not try any). Friendly staff, very clean washrooms, credit cards accepted.Thank you for the kind review, we appreciate you stopping in and hope to see you again. Thank you for the advise on the burgers, we are working at getting all our new cooks working to our standard

You know when you're hungry but not ravenous hungry? Chose a lighter breaky option of eggs, bacon and sourdough toast..yummy and just the right taste and proportion. Plus the coffee was really good and kept coming around. A clean restaurant with quick friendly service and I will definitely come back.

Judging by the reviews, the restaurant suffers from inconsistency, which stems from staff problems. We popped in for lunch on a Monday. The place was nearly empty, it was 1pm, so any rush, if there was one, was over.We ordered coconut rice bowls. And then nothing happened. We waited 30, then 40 minutes. I tried to approach the sole server, who seemed to be in a flap making herself busy wiping already clean tables. She said our order should be out 'right away'. 10 minutes later she admitted she had not originally entered the order on the computer. So the food finally came just as I was about to pay for the tea and coffee which HAD appeared earlier on. Unfortunately we were by then quite late, and so were pressed to wolf down the food and leave. Very apologetic, we were offered free apple crumble to go, which was a nice gesture.Their problem is retaining staff. It is tough everywhere, but one can not run a business without reliable workers.

A combination fitness centre and restaurant, this place was a very welcome find after a long day’s drive en route from Invermere to Vancouver. After reading some good reviews on Trip Advisor, we arrived just before 7 p.m. on a quiet Monday evening. It was warm enough to sit out on the spacious patio behind the building with it’s beautiful view overlooking the Similkameen Valley and the forest and meadows of the mountains behind. Serving a variety of Craft beers and ciders as well as local wine and an excellent Margarita on the rocks, the emphasis is on Southwestern items like Nachos, tacos and quesadillas, plus a handmade pizza selection as well. The Vaca tacos, with succulent shredded beef and great toppings including jalapeños, banana peppers, pickled red cabbage, corn and black beans in soft flour tortillas were unique and delicious. The signature quesadilla, available in three sizes to suit every appetite, was a very generous large tortilla wrapped around its filling of chicken or beans covered with a house made red sauce with a decorative sour cream drizzle and served with sides of Spanish rice and black beans – a filling entrée. Service was friendly and informative and the owner came out at the end of our meal to chat with us. It was a gorgeous evening and he was kind enough to draw us a map of a favourite viewpoint at the top of a local mountain with an ETA of about ten minutes from the restaurant. We drove up, seeing Ruffed Grouse en route, and arriving at the top, which is the base area for the China Ridge Trail system (for hikers and cross-country skiers in winter), sat on the little wooden bench at the top of the meadow to enjoy the vista of the mountainous valley (unfortunately somewhat obscured from the smoke haze from summer wildfires, but spectacular nonetheless). Definitely places I’d like to return to.

We were travelling through the area looking for a place to eat. It was a bit late and they were just about to close but they let the 4 of us in to order dinner. We found the service and food to be top notch, very good. We each had a different dinner including two of the dinner specials - we were all very happy with the food. Can't wait to go there again.
