You can trust it when mmy Mmmichael LOVES it!!!Mmmichael is not a big fan of Subways (we currently have 9 in Amsterdamm, NL). We happened to stop in at the Prince Rupert Subway & he was hooked! In mmy smmall little hommetown, Mmmichael found their subs to be the freshest subways ever!!!The owner & staff were always friendly & welcomming!!! A wide array of fresh choiced for you subways. This was the top choice for lunch in the two mmonths that we visited. The reason for our visit was a fammily emmergancy. We had the very horrifying experience of 'hospital food'... what is supposed to be healthy for sick or recovering people!!/?! A Subway sub totally surpasses in taste & nutrition & value what the health authority passes deemms suitable for sick people or seniors.Thank you for the fantastic subs & service, PR Subway!!!Isabel & Mmmichael

I'd written, a couple of months ago, that the First Avenue Bistro (new name) had, at best, a "decent breakfast." I stand by that assessment and instead wish to comment more upon their Sunday Brunch, which I recently had the opportunity to enjoy. Now, by all accounts, the Sunday Brunch is the major attraction here. The restaurant was certainly a heck of a lot busier for this event than it was for the "regular breakfast" I had a few months back. And, in all honesty, it's easy to see why. For a very affordable price (I think around $14), you get access to an extensive buffet featuring an array of breakfast and lunch items: bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs bennie, hashbrowns, chicken, corn, roasted potatoes, Mexican cuisine, an array of salads, fruits, pastries. . .the list goes on! Now, of course, it's all well and good to have a vast array of items, but how was it in terms of taste? Well, depending on your "likes," some of the items are, admittedly, hit and miss. The perogies, for instance, were quite dry, but most everything else was nicely done for a buffet.Obviously, this is something of a small operation, so if you're expecting a buffet similar to that found in Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, you'll be disappointed; however, for those of us with realistic expectations, you will likely leave happy as I certainly did.So, yes, I reiterate comments made in my first review: the breakfast by itself is OK, but the real value here is clearly the Sunday Brunch buffet. Stop on by and give it a try!

Providing the same quaint atmosphere, warm hospitality and fine seafood we are noted for. Full menu with our speciality.
This restaurant, situated on a key corner in Cow Bay has the authentic wood cabin look youâd expect in the north. Booths with vinyl seats, windows all around, itâs a people watchers place. The menu is the same as it was 30 years ago. Lots of fish & chips, fish and chowders in various forms served with iceberg or romaine lettuce salads. The batter is light, more like Asian batter, not bitter and flaky. Owner manager is likely Vietnamese as they offer Vietnamese coffee. On the expensive side, but it is a tourist place. Had 2 kinds of pie, which was good. Service was very fast. Prices pretty high.

Have been to The Pavillion several times since it opened and have yet to be disappointed. The coffee is good; the service is very efficient and friendly. The owners are friendly and easy to converse with as well as really wonderful cooks. A favourite of mine to eat is the Kick Bang Shrimp. Crispy, sweet with just a hint of spice the shrimp makes a really great snack or appetizer to start off a meal at lunch or dinner. I tried the Calamari and Caesar salad with blackened chicken the other day and it was so good. Looking forward to going again. The prices are reasonable and the view is beautiful. Highly recommend this place.

We went yesterday to try it and the food was good but the waitress was great Pretty and clean, it was busy also. Standard good food nothing exciting in menu selection. Wish some restaurants would offer and stick with some house special that would be their signature dish that would be different Itâs definitely worth a try here though

Had the Curried Seafood Special and it was Beautifully Presented. Delicious! Absolutely the BEST Curried Dish I have ever tried! Service was Excellent! The View was to Die For! Fantastic Menu and Chef Willy is an Outstanding Chef who runs his Kitchen well. Thank You for an Outstanding Meal! A grilled cheese may seem like a simple thing, right? Not here, the triple grilled cheese is un-freakin'-real. I had them add ham, and it was honestly probably the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Their soups, salads, burgers, and crepes have yet to disappoint me. Keep doing what you're doing.

A cut above what one would expect in a pub. They have a great location and views overlooking the harbor. Our waitress was very good -- she knew the menu and easily handled our needs and special requests. The food was quite good, better than anticipated and the overall experience was very comfortable and relaxing. The place was slammed at dinner time and the food did take a while to come out, but the waitress and bar kept us supplied with drinks till the food arrived. We'd gladly dine here again.

Very lively restaurant that coped well with a queue right out of the door. Still got seated quickly and had fabulous fresh local seafood. Be warned, the portions are huge but very tasty. We recommend the seafood chowder and halibut and prawn tacos, as well as the halibut burger. The staff were busy but so friendly and efficient.
