We stopped in for drinks after a long drive up from Victoria and it was a good place to stop and regroup. On sunny days that front deck must have fabulous views across the water. Our waitress was friendly and didnât mind that we were just there for drinks. Washrooms were very clean and there was wifi available which was a nice surprise in a âno serviceâ area.Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased you had a chance to join us for a rest along your drive from Victoria. We are happy to hear you found our space cleanly, our servers friendly and that you enjoyed our wifi. We had excellent breakfasts and a lunch here! Favourites: "bbq pork breakfast benny bowl" was awesome, the seafood chowder was one of the best if not the best we have had, and the wild salmon bagel was great. Highly recommend this restaurant. (Hope the will be open for dinner one day!)Thank you Karen for taking the time to write a kind review. We arrived at the same time as 2 other families. The food was amazing. They forgot my order, but quickly made it once i asked. Service is good and friendly.Casual, great space.

I was here last week with a bus load of seniors from Nanaimo. The staff scurried around to accommodate those of us who did not wish to sit at high stools, bringing in tables and chairs from the patio. The food was good, service excellent, but have to agree, being served an $11 cocktail in a plastic "glass" and plastic utensils with which to eat as well as other throw away dishes, was disappointing. Considering the fact that they had to serve so many people at once, in a limited time frame, I think they did well. But do hope they reconsider replacing the plastic with washable utensils and serving dishes in the very near future.
