JOSSY'S food is always fresh and served with a smile
I love this chip truck! The service is fantastic, food is yummy and the staff is efficient and friendly. I would give it 5 star but only one picnic table! We come every year when at the cottage. Keep it up! Hello, Thank you for the fantastic review! Unfortunately because of our location we are only allowed to have one picnic table, we would love to have more for our customers but we are unable to do so. Sorry for the any inconvenience this may have caused. Have a safe & happy summer!-Team Jossy's

Just had a great DINNER at Cottage Bistro, and it's way more than a burger bar now. We enjoyed delicious bruschetta (perfectly crunchy toast, fresh tomato and sweet balsamic drizzle), as well as the juicy, savory shrimp with rich guacamole appetizer. For our main course, the lamb loin was sensational. It was tender, juicy and had a mustard seasoning that provided the perfect compliment to the sweet and tangy sauce that came with it. It was served with delicious roasted carrot and wonderful asparagus which had been cooked just the right amount so it was neither too soft nor too crunchy. It also came with a nice mashed potato mixture which I think was white potatoes mixed with sweet potatoes. I would never have tried this at home but it was really good. We also had the salmon which was moist, tender and delicious (served over basmati rice with vegetables. Everything was made to look very pretty on the plate and was most enjoyable. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat with catchy pop music playing over the stereo and bright, cheerful, fun art on the walls. Service was warm, friendly and attentive. The only thing I would add was that we were not given bread plates, which made eating the tasty, hot rolls and appetizers awkward. Overall a great meal and would highly recommend!
We had some tasty cones this weekend - liked my Red Velvet cone and the rest of the family enjoyed their treats covered in various toppings. Fun location right on the water. I can see this being a regular stop when we're in the area.

Visitors to this special area MUST make a stop at Abbey's. I would definitely consider myself a Butter-tart Affectionado and am pretty picky about the filling (no raisins!) and the pastry. Abbey's honestly was the BEST butter-tart I and everyone else in our group had ever tasted. I don't know what they do to the crust but it is perfect. Filling not runny (how I usually like it) but divine! We also had the coffee (delicious), egg bites (yummy), brownies and the focaccia breakfast sandwiches (these were to die for, seriously). I wish they shipped to London! Only thing I would critique is they need a better flow for the service line when it is busy. I.e. if you're in just to grab a coffee- there should be a quicker line. Other than that - this is a must stop if you're in the area. The location of this spot right in the marina makes it extra special. Get your treats and sit in a muskoka chair overlooking the water and enjoy, bliss!

My wife and I dined here for the first time. We both had the three course set menu. The cost was $30 per person. This was the best $30 meal I have ever had and was far superior to most high end restaurants we have patronized in Toronto. Everything was bursting with flavour and came beautifully presented. All of this and wonderful service to top it off. Donât miss a stop to Richwellâs during your visit to Port Carling.

Such a great find in busy and commercial Muskoka. Seemingly a small place with integrity for quality over commerce. Sublime breakfast sandwiches and superb lunch ones. The fries and as good as any famous chip-truck! The sandwiches are made with first class ingredients and condiments.

Water's Edge is a great place for a lunch with a view. The pizza and sandwiches are very good and the bar has a fine selection of local beers. But watching the boats go up and down the lake is what takes lunch to the next notch.

In 1992, the Lishman family had a dockside moment of inspiration. What if there was a premium restaurant that offered delicious, fresh food served with the same fun, relaxed hospitality one enjoys with family and friends at the cottage? From this simple d
I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it tasted like mold. I advised the manager and he made me feel like I was in the wrong that it was impossible that my wrap tasted like mold. Finally he agreed to bring me something else. So I ordered chicken strips. I had a few bites and was turned off as these also tasted like mold. I spent $54 for food and 2 drinks here for moldy chicken that I tossed in the garbage. I would never go back! Found this gem on TripAdvisor. Great food with different options. Good quality and nice presentation of dishes. Service was a little slow but we were there as a couple and there were several large groups. Our server was very engaging. Fitting for our style in Muskoka. Had a nice visit after with the part-owner. We will go back in the future. Hoping they can make it through the winter as they have only been open for a few months.
