While on a business trip near Ingersoll, I asked the hotel for a recommendation for a restaurant. After hearing their recommendation, I went to Chuck's Roadhouse. This was an experience that was negative only because of abysmally bad service. My meal consisted of a side Caesar salad, a petite tenderloin steak, plus two beers. Without belaboring the point with unnecessary text, there were numerous errors. The wait for everything seemed totally unreasonable, considering that the restaurant was mostly empty. The first beer that I ordered took forever to arrive. When placed on my table, it was in an under-filled glass, with essentially no "head" remaining on the beer. This was evidence to me that it had been poured, and sat unattended for excessively long. The beer still was fine, but part of the dining experience is to have things presented properly. They failed on the first beer. The wait for food seemed endless. After that long wait, someone (not my server) placed my steak / fries onto my table. I looked at the person and asked "what about my salad". She scurried away without an explanation. Shortly thereafter, my salad was served - without any kind of explanation. I commented that I would have REALLY preferred the salad first. The reply was incomprehensible "Oh yeah, we should have told you." What does that mean? The salad was great; it was actually better than I expected. However, the whole time I was eating my salad, I was looking at my meal getting colder, and colder. I would have asked them to re-do it, but the time invested in this meal was already excessive. My second beer was a small (12 oz) serving. What they delivered was a 16 oz glass partially filled. The server muttered some kind of explanation, but I have to admit that I was shocked. If you already know that you made a mistake - fix it. Don't deliver a partially filled glass to the table.By the time I ate my meal, the steak was cold, the fries were soggy, and I was dissatisfied. Note to the staff - it still could have been improved with a simple statement of regret / apology. It would have been an acknowledgement that things had not gone well. Unfortunately, none was offered. This proves, once again, that awful service trumps good food every time. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I had an intimate lunch here with a dear friend and the waitress was excellent. She took our order, checked with us to see we were okay and then left us to talk. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, salads are delicious and the time we spent was very enjoyable.

Right next door to On the Edge, a knife specialist store. The reason for being in Ingersol. Dino's has an extensive lunch time menu including a daily soup special and artisan grilled cheese. All wonderful. Rustic vegetable soup, vegetables kept their own flavour on top of a rich and satisfying broth. The grilled cheese- crispy with 3 cheeses melted perfectly.

By far the best place to go for a hearty meal Ingersoll. The staff are great and the food is plentiful. Only downside is the entrance is quite squishy especially when waiting for a table. They have a huge statue and popcorn machine taking up most of the lobby. It would be helpful to have seating while waiting. Also the decor is outdated and distracting.

Always a fan of homemade food. The appetizer sampler was over fried. The homemade Mac and cheese, was more just Mac with a very thin sauce mixed in. Not at all cheesy. Great side salad and super garlicy bread. Lots of fresh, crisp veggies in the salad. The service was however fantastic.

This is probably one of the most popular dining spots in the wee town of Ingersoll.Itâs known for being home to the âbig ass panzerottiâ and was featured once on âYou Goota Eat Hereâ.Having said that, portions here are big. Itâs a diner and the food is pretty basic. I had bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin and my husband had a toasted BLT. Hard to mess up to basics. Thanks for the review. Hope we can continue serving those classics up right along with a few new twists!
