We have been visiting this resort for over 5 years. The restaurant was always a highlight of our stay until this time. It was awful. And I am NOT a picky eater. I wish I had taken a picture of my lasagna entree. You would laugh. The noodles were like rubber.I couldnât eat it. How can you screw that up?My husband had the ribs. They were really tough. Chewy. Dry. Tasted âoldâ. Yuck!

Antlers at the Lodge Restaurant is the refreshed and rebranded dining room experience for both breakfast and dinner with Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
Morning of Aug 15: Said they couldn't (wouldn't) be able to accommodate our group of 9. No problem we said, we can split the group up. Still no, one of the waitresses was about to be off so closing a section. Was obvious laziness. We took their advice and found a better option.

After a round of golf on either Mountainside or Riverside golf courses enjoy a cold one on the patio. Look out at the greens, take in the spectacular mountain ranges, and chat about the fabulous time youâre having at our vacation resort in beautiful BC. C
Always a good bet for lunch. Sandwiches, burgers and soup will not disappoint. I had the butter chicken which was okay, but next time I'll have it at an Indian restaurant, not at a golf course.

Dapper's Landing is now closed for the season. After a round of golf on either Mountainside or Riverside golf courses enjoy a cold one in the bar area of Dapperâs Landing at Riverside. Enjoy a delicious meal and chat about the fabulous time youâre having
We make it a habit of partaking in the Dapperâs Landing Friday night Fish and Chip special anytime we visit the area. The service even when busy is excellent fish & chips are haddock executed quickly and well. Nicely seasoned fries with a small coleslaw at a 2 for 1 night it is incredible value. We were a bit disappointed that they have discontinued offering a house wine by the carafe perhaps they will reconsider if enough people ask for it.

My husband I have visited the Fairmont area yearly for the past 30 years and each year that the Bears Pawâs been open we go there at least twice per visit. Ordinarily, weâve been very pleased; however, this year itâs been a disappointment. While the setting and service is still wonderful, the food is not. On our first visit this year, I ordered the steak sandwich. The menu advertises a 7 oz. New York steak sandwich ($22.95) which has been on the menu for ages and other years when Iâve ordered, thatâs exactly what I got. This year the portion that was served to me was no more than 4oz. I mentioned this to the waitress (who was excellent by the way) and she brought my comments to the kitchen. Their responses was that it comes in prepackaged portions that's supposed to be 7oz. - not even close.Second visit - I ordered the one half rotisserie chicken ($23.95) which Iâve had at numerous restaurants. Itâs always served as such with a breast, leg and back portion - truly half a chicken, with a reasonable portion of white meat. This plate had 2 small legs/ small back attached and absolutely no white meat. You cannot have a true half a chicken with no white neat. The vegetables which were served with it consisted of a small slice of red pepper a small slice of zucchini. It would appear that The Bears Paw has decided to raise itâs prices and reduce itâs quality and quantity to improve profit margins. Wake up management! Lee C.

Stopped for lunch on a Friday and special was Fish and chips -soup of the day was clam chowder.Fried had the soup and I ordered the fish and chips. Both had tea.Tea was just luke warm but fish and chips were great. Nicely battered with thin cut fries. Mmm. Was very good and a customer friendly portion size. Friend said clam chowder was also good. Not sure why water for tea not hot and waitress was puzzled when we mentioned. No big deal. Enjoyed a good lunch and will stop in again so when going through Fairmont
