We ordered a medium pizza for takeout on the way to our hotel as we were hungry after the drive from Halifax. We asked for black olives, green peppers and mushrooms. It was larger and more expensive than I predicted. Hard to tell since the pizza prices are not on their website. It tasted good, filled the bill and it lasted three days, and we ate the whole pizza! It looked like the pizza in the photo.

We dropped in for a coffee after a visit to Louisbourg Fort. They were suffering a power-cut (residual work following hurricane damage) but still boiled some water for coffee and provided cake. Both tasty enough in the circumstances.Friendly staff and still made to feel welcome despite the circumstances.

Ate at this restaurant recently with my daughter and mom whilst on a family vacation. I had the lobster mac and cheese and it was soooo good! Garlic and lobster served in a cream sauce gratinee to perfection with two nice pieces of toasted garlic bread. My mom had the bed tenderloin cooked medium. She liked it very much! My daughter had the fries with chicken nuggets off the kid's menu. Very tasty. The wine selection was ok, they could have had more than 1 wine in the reds and whites from Nova Scotia. Service was friendly and on point. I would eat here again

My daughter and I went for supper on our first night in town at Governor's based on a recommendation from the craft store owner (who happened to be married to the owner). Great food, staff and atmosphere. We went back for our last supper in Sydney and it matched our first experience.

The Miner's Village Restaurant is housed in a replica of a Coal Company house where many mining families lived their lives in the mining town of Glace Bay and surrounding areas. I grew up in a Company house very similar to the homes featured at the Miner's Village Restaurant and Museum.

Tiny cafe-style restaurant that oddly closes at 8p on Saturdays. A few lovely sunset view front patio seats, if you donât mind a few power lines and the main road about 50 feet away. Good sized portions. Maybe 10 small tables inside. The double decker bar nextdoor was much busier but this food seemed better than other options.

Parking in front is limited. We were seated right away, there ate booths and tables. I ordered a shwarma sammie. The pita was foode service grade and nothing special. Overall it was somewhat bland on the flavor sideService was solid and efficient.

The food is simple but plentiful and fresh fish and seafood is top notch. Lots of fun listening to both professional and amateur singers, and really fun conclusion to the evening. Great photo ops once diners are in Acadian costume. Staff are friendly, well organized and helpful. Thank you for the great review. We are so glad you chose to join us at the Beggars Banquet for a great night of food, fun and entertainment. The seafood is always a great choice and plenty of other food options on the all you can eat buffet. We do hope you will visit us again soon.

This has a variety of food and we ate there once while in town. The food is good and the service great.
Our meal hear was one the best we have ever enjoyed in a restaurant. One dish was the seafood pasta and other was the blackened seafood medley. Both fresh and delicious. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Highly recommended.
