Just had the most wonderful dinner at the Lake house in Bayfield. What a wonderful establishment that is moderately priced with amazing dishes. I had the Chicken that melted in your mouth and my husband loved his pasta..will definitely be back..a must stop if you are in Bayfield.

Seasonal bbq and breakfast shack serving house smoked brisket, turkey, pulled pork, peameal bacon sandwiches, all day breakfast items, smoothies and cold drinks
Very casual atmosphere. You go inside to order and pay, and seating is outside. Really nice staff! The food is served in paper and cardboard, so it is all recyclable. What looks like plastic isn't. The cups and sauce containers are made from cane sugar and deteriorate. The beverages they offer are in recyclable containers and come from companies that have programs to give back. The food is fresh and creative (we have had pizza, veggie burgers, wraps, and a grilled cinnamon raisin pretzel with strawberry jalapeno dip). The pretzel was delivered with the rest of the food and had cooled somewhat by the time we got to it. They offered to warm it! Sometimes they also have items the cook just made but which are not on the menu. The strawberry cheesecake (like ice cream) was decadent. These folks are welcoming and hospitable; it seems more like dropping by a friend's place than a food establishment. Everything we have tried so far has been tasty. Creative menu, too.

We have been several times last year. Went for Motherâs day breakfast buffet. Everything looked good as usual. Then it happened, dished up basic scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and a pancake. Eggs were baby bottle warm, bacon was colder and sausage was cold to the touch. Pancake had no heat left in it. The chafing dishes were well stocked but it is apparent it had been sitting there for sometime. I pointed it out to management and was told there is âsteam coming from the steam tableâ. Food guidelines and safe handling state hot foods kept at 140 degrees F or 60 degrees C. Not even close. We had one bite of each product and told management we were leaving. To their credit, no charge. But for $15 a person just having hot food or warm food would have been nice. Motherâs Day for our family was ruined.

I stopped by this place on the way up to Kincardine. Had plans to go to West St. Willy's in Goderich, but decided on Renegade's to try something new. Service was good. The servers were very nice. Portions wee also very good. Had the Denver omelet. It's made with Spanish onion which is atypical. It was good, but way to much onion. The only other feedback I would give is for the servers to circle the floor with a coffee pot more often to refill or warm up empty cups. I would recommend this place and intend to visit again.

Local hangout offering pub fare, craft brew & a range of cocktails in wood-accented surroundings. Front and back patio's that will keep you coming back for more and in the winter we have a cozy fireplace to warm up to. Come for the food, stay for the beer
This is an awesome restaurant with excellent beer. Try the Pizza, Hawaiian was excellent. Also the Burger Royale (a gourmet version of the big Mac). A wide selection of menu items. Excellent Beer choices, fantastic menu, excellent service and great food. This place was packed by about 6 pm. No need for reservations on the patio and it was a beautiful evening to eat out. Reservations recommended on the long weekend for inside dining.

The Little Inn of Bayfield will be launching two new culinary destinations, the Willow Room, and the Four In Hand Taproom. Both venues will feature bespoke menu concepts by renowned Chef Michael Potters, featuring locally sourced Huron County produce & pr
Three of us went for lunch at The Little Inn. We ordered fish & chips, daily soup and fish cakes, all of which were very good. (Best fish cakes ever.) There were few other people there at the time so service was prompt and attentive. The decor isn't fancy but more rustic.

I liked the variety of foods offered on the menu and appreciated that there were some vegan options as well.Service was great - friendly, but not intrusive.Enjoyed the Vegetable Curry dish and tried the vegan dessert - can't remember the name but enjoyed it as well. Was difficult to see my friends face when facing the front window - could only see outline, otherwise enjoyable lunch.
