Went is for a quick meal to take back to my hotel. Burger was good, midrange. Much better than a typical fast food place. Onion rings were good. Price was reasonable. I'd stop to eat here again for sure. The milkshakes... Oh yes, any flavor I could possible want. I went with a banana chocolate that brought me back to my youth. If you go, get a shake!

Had breakfast one day when my brother and sister in law were visiting. Pretty typical cafe fare. All good but nothing out of the ordinary. I think they use McCain's potatoes for the 'pan fried potatoes' though... not home cut. Service was super friendly. Portions are generous and prices are about average. The hotel is over 100 years old so that adds a bit of interest.

We were seated quickly, our server was friendly and took our drink order. She brought a jug of water for us rather than refilling our glasses, which was ok. We shared an appetizer, was ok...our meals were a disappointment...the portions seemed smaller than the 'regular' days as well as tasteless...we didn't finish them nor did we take them home. During that time, our server never once came by to inquire if everything was ok. Poor service...Hi, there. Sorry to see that you were not satisfied with your recent experience. Please share the details at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html so we can try to make it right. Thank you!
Stopped in here for lunch while in Athabasca yesterday. The two of us shared a huge bowl of war won ton. Superb value - lots of dumplings, veggies and some shrimp. Couldn't finish it all so took the rest home for supper. Speedy and friendly service and the prices are excellent. Please note - the photo showing the Super 8 has nothing to do with this restaurant - it is in an entirely different place - on the main road and downtown.

If your looking for something greasy, like a burger or fries, this is where you go.I wanted something relatively healthy, so I had the Chicken Donair ($9.00), because it was made with chicken breast. I also chose Tzaziki sauce instead of garlic sauce. This was one of the worst donairs of any kind I have had. The Chicken was pre cooked and refrigerated, then heated on a grill. The Chicken was dry and tough. The Tzaziki sauce was very bland. The veggies looked like they needed to be revived. I was not impressed. The prices here were on the high side and the service was mediocre.
Being a small town there are not a lot of fast food places so we were pleased to find a Subway where you can always count on finding healthy choices provided by great service.
I had the pizza once and a friend dragged me back insisting the burgers would be great, well burger was about the same as the pizza... calories I'd have preferred not to ingest. Seems to me these folks aren't really into food.

The Fox Den Restaurant is open 7 days a week seasonally starting in early April until mid to late October. During the off season catering services are available as well as facility rentals for gatherings up to 70 people. Great facility to host your compan
This is a fabulous place for an alfresco summer meal. The view from the deck overlooks the golf course and surrounding woods - just gorgeous. The quality of the food has been known to vary from season to season, but generally it's good, full of "regular" food like hamburgers and wraps and pasta. I have never in my many visits here had food that was not good. Their wine list is decent and prices very reasonable. Folks are friendly. A good spot to eat in Athabasca, easily accessible just out of town on Hwy 813.
Welcome to Paddymelon! The most unique shopping experience you'll find in the beautiful riverside town of Athabasca.Serving specialty espresso based drinks( try a salted caramel mocha or maybe a french vanilla latte?!),smoothies,Italian sodas, iced coffees
We were passing through Athabasca and decided to grab a coffee after lunch. We read reviews on this place and thought we should check it out. I'm glad we did. My hubby and I both enjoyed flavored mochas as well as some baking. I didn't realize they had a few lunch options- it smelled great when we walked in. I'd like to try it for lunch sometime!Thx for dropping by!!! You definitely need to try one of amazing quesadillas next time! My fav is the chicken bacon avocado

Friendly greeting upon entering this restaurant with updated decor....service was extremely good and menu is diverse with " Italian/Greek" overtures...Classico Lasagna was excellent and the Lamb Chops were cooked toperfection...everything came out quickly and was very hot..minor detail but the gravy was bland and did not do justice to the rest of the food...this restaurant appears very popular with the locals and prices are reasonable....Look forward to the next visit!!!!
