We are a family run cafe that uses fresh local produce to create a different dinning experience. From locally roasted coffee to cheeses from the Agassiz farm house. We try to serve that 100 mile menu.
Muddy Waters is a very popular bistro/cafe in Harrison and we now know why.It has a reasonable amount seating indoors as well as on their patio and ample parking available ~ although I'm sure, most people just walk here. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating as well. The food is delicious ~ seems to be all homemade and with very generous portions. You place your own order at the counter and this rainy day, the line-up was almost out the door.We hesitated to go in because of the line-up but the orders were handled quickly by the efficient staff. Our flavourful coffee was ready as we were finding a table and in short order, our yummy meal was delivered to our table.I must say we were surprised to have it plated and presented so nicely ~ not like so many other bistros. The Bison Burger looked quite appetizing but we decided to share one of their ground steak hamburgers with potato and leek soup. The 'burger' was huge with all the trimmings ~ so we made a good choice to share. Both entrees were absolutely delicious ~ it was the best potato~leek soup I have ever had.We even indulged in taking a HUGE slice of coffee cake back to the hotel for a treat.Noticed they do a lot of take-out orders as well ~ seems to be a favourite spot with the local patrons as well as visitors. We can't wait to go back to sample more of their delicious homemade cooking. If you in Harrison Hot Springs ~ you definitely need to go to Muddy Waters Cafe on Esplanade.Kind regards
Petro's Pizza is now Called "Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza" I've ordered their pizza and was very disappointed in it. The dough on the bottom of the pizza was very soggy as if it wasn't cooked. The toppings were just "okay" nothing to brag about. I personally wouldn't order another pizza from them again. Also, the name "Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza" is misleading. I asked about one of their pizzas and it was $19. I asked how much for 2, thinking it was 2 for 1, and they said $37. Mmm, 2 for 1 pizzas, don't think so.
Went twice on a recent golf trip...service was nice (albeit a bit slow), but the location was extremely clean.

We had dinner at Jackâs this week. Our waitress was very friendly & professional. The food portions were big but the food was only average. The food is typical cafe style food. The restaurant is nice.

We stopped into Agassiz recently for a âstop, walkabout, and lunchâ on our way to Harrison Hot Springs. It was a very warm day on-the-go, and âJimmyâs Pubâ seemed like the right venue to catch a âcoolingâ rest stop, with beverage, and âsnackâ lunch. It was a first time experience for us.Once inside, after a short look about, a large table up-back and alongside the front window, caught our attention and worked well for stay. Service was prompt, and personally-friendly.Beverages arrived quickly (OK Springs draught ales for daughter & I, iced-water for Mom), were cool and refreshing, and allowed us to sit back & relax before the food arrived. We ordered a full order of ânachosâ â which turned out to be rather huge, and well-stacked with different kinds of tortillas chips, chopped tomatoes, cut olives, cheese, sliced green onion & jalapeno peppers, and such - with two dipping sauces (sour cream & a salsa) on the side. We enjoyed our experience at âJimmyâs Pubâ â service was friendly, beverages cool & refreshing, food flavourful & tasty (and âouchâ, a touch spicy at times too!!). A fun & relaxing stop for us in Agassiz.Note: the establishment will have a name change soon â customers have been contributing to a âwhat should we call our placeâ survey left on the service counter.

We were tipped off by a tiny sandwich board beside Re-Max in Agassiz and thought why not. Good call! Coffee was over the top delicious, the sandwiches were large with a large taste and Starbucks can take lessons on customer service frim these guys. The decor is spackled with antiques proving a calming atmosphere. Locally owned and operated serving the best coffee in the Harrison Hot Springs area.Tom S

The Heritage Coffee House is proud to offer a wide variety of menu items , all of which are made fresh to order using the best possible ingredients. Any item on our menu can be made gluten free upon request. All of our soups and baked items are made fresh
The Heritage Coffee House has excellent soups and fresh sandwiches, including gluten-free options. Their service is friendly and their prices are low. In summer, their patio is a pretty spot to enjoy your meal. The only negative is they don't serve espresso based drinks any more.

A local recommended this Deli as you can purchase a package of cheese ends - several different varieties could be included depending what cheese was left over recently. I went in and was told they did not have any made up but would make one for me. So they did I enjoyed some really good slices of cheese as a snack.

...4 of us stopped in for breakfast on the way to Harrison Hotsprings. Even though the lunch time was starting, they still served us breakfast which was nice. Decent food and VERY good service from the young server who told us she had just gotten hired.
