We finally stopped here after seeing it wasn't packed (the crowds since it opened have been large when we drive by). We were there mid-day on a Saturday which probably helped us get right in and be seated. Service was very friendly. We had the Uptowner (turkey/avocado), Detroit style pizza, and kids meals of pizza and pasta/meatballs. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Prices were fair. Good service and good food, we'll be back! Thanks for visiting, Kurt! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit.

Great way to start Funday Sunday with brunch & BOGO Bloody Mary's from 7am-3pm. Traditional breakfast (pictured) was so good. Portions are generous. Self serving Bloody Mary Bar had all the fixings including shrimp, bacon, spicy beans and okra! Staff was friendly & courteous. Part Owners, Brad & Melanie were so welcoming. Fun place that is family friendly. The grits are the real deal- not instant box! Yummy! Sausage was not a patty. It was a link & tasty.Gumbo was excellent with deep tasty flavor even without okra. Definitely a must try! It will be a sure stop before Sunday football.
Mandeville Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Mandeville
Have attended weddings and event dinners here. The venue has always been clean and appropriately set up for the type of event hosted. The food, however is a huge disappointment. It's like everything comes in a boiling bag, just heat and serve. B- cafeteria food. I would consider having an event here if they allowed outside food prep, not sure if they do or not.

We attended a wedding here on a Friday night. The entire event was onsite. The wedding was performed in the courtyard and the reception in one of the ballrooms. The food was varied and outstanding. The bar was well stocked and well serviced. The staff was professional and efficient. Anyone who has attended a big New Orleans style wedding knows what is involved. I cannot say enough about the great job these folks did. And it goes without saying, the bride was beautiful

We went for supper. That seam to do a lot of take out orders so our food took a long time to be served. The gumbo was a little brown gravy and the rice was hard. DH did not like it. I had an PUPU appetizer platter and it was not tasty. The fried pickles were cold. Some of the table were people left were not cleaned in a timely matter. We needed a break from the heat and a night out, so my wife and I and our 2 grown up kids headed to the Lakehouse. For 4 of us we had:- an heirloom tomato & a peach salad- an 1840 dinner (3 course - swordfish or steak, wedge salad, & bread pudding dessert)- a swordfish entree- a Bouillabaise (not the soupy type and excellent)- a shrimp scampi- a bottle of J Lohr chardonnay- and lastly a pecan brownie a la mode.Everything was delicious and Helen did a great job serving us.It was too hot to eat out on the porch, but on a cooler day that would be very nice looking out across the lake.

I've been to both the Mandeville and New Orleans locations several times. The photo shown here is the New Orleans location - which certainly has a different ambience. That aside, the food is great. They often have good lunch specials. Friendly and attentive service - I enjoy both locations.

After visiting family in the area we traveled down hey 59, saw this place and thought we would give it a try. Everyone claims they have the best seafood. It was very busy and yet every employee greeted us with a smile and a hello!! They have you order at the counter and bring your food to the table. It came out quickly and everything was delicious!! We ordered a seafood platter and 10 lbs of crawfish. Crawfish were perfect!!( wasnt too spicy Or salty) Also tried their corn, potatoes and mushrooms. All was good corn could have boiled longer we had so much food we had to bring it home!! Look forward to stopping by again when we are in town!!
