We were trapped early morning in the airport and were starved so we tried this place out. The service was ok and the food was ok. It was a bit pricy but that's what you get at an airport. Anyway its not bad and they opened very early.

Always a friendly staff. Food always served hot. Great selection. Great Fried Chicken fresh to order. Appetizers are delicious .. Great Adult beverages. The best bread pudding in New Orleans area... Good place to bring family or date night .. Clean restrooms and restaurant. the only thing I could say needs improvement would be parking very limited .

All in all it's not a bad place for a few beers while waiting for a delayed airplane to show up. Menu is somewhat limited, and, yes, they may not have everything that's on the menu, such as soup of the day, and service may not be the quickest, but the DO serve a very good turkey gumbo. One of us ordered it and, after tasting, the other 3 followed. It was pretty darn good.Maybe a bit more spice next time, but that's my personal taste. Oh, and service may not have been the quickest, but he had a great sense of humor.

this was always a favorite of the sicilian/italian culture of nola for over 75 years. and i don't think the kitchen has changed the menu in all of that time. why would you when you put out the best oyster casserole or roasted chicken or pasta bordelaise this side of the mediterranean. the staff is so friendly and helpful. they just want you to eat well and be pleased. be warned, cash only; but there is an atm on site.

I wish I could eat in this restaurant everyday for the rest of my life. The food was soooooo tasty. Jerk chicken was as good as what's served in JamaicaThe staff are really friendly and welcoming. Even watch football whilst eating if you like. The one thing I am missing is this restaurant since returning to the UK.Chefs are the best ever. Thank you for cooking such great food.Don from Birmingham U.K.

Since 1933 Ye Olde College Inn has served generations of New Orleanians. Come join us at a true New Orleans landmark. Our menu features our latest Creole specials and plenty of twists on traditional New Orleans standards. Next door is another New Orleans
Visiting for Jazz fest and ate here for one night. Our waiter Jimmy made the night! He gave us recommendations from drinks to apps to the main course. We pretty much all ate from the list of specials for the night but everything was incredible. Definitely the best we had eaten on our trip and none of our meals had been disappointing. Five stars all the way!
Do yourself a favor and eat there, don't worry about what been their before. The Chef trained under Chef John Folse. Great food and lots of it, get there before 2:00PM.

Decided to stop by for a quick lunch with my son. Ordered a shrimp po boy and sausage in bun with fries. The fries came out cold so I returned the for a fresh order. They refused to send me a fresh order! Wow, the waitress was a little embarrassed. She told me they wanted to give me retried fries but she refused! I appreciate her honesty but will never return! I understand the value of a dollar and an honest review! I will never return! Thanks!

Our daughter flew in from New York and my wife picked her up at the airport and both met me here for lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy with various Christmas parties going on, but we still got good and timely service. We shared an order of Onion Rings and a small cup of Crab & Brie dip for appetizers (both very good). My wife & daughter split the Les Miles Salad (with the added crab meat on top). This worked out fine since the salad is large and much too much for either one of them alone. I had the Eggplant Maurapas ( a very nice sliced breaded eggplant over top of angel hair pasta and shrimp & crab on top of that) - delicious.Christine did a nice job for us even though she and the others working there today were spread pretty thin.A nice break from my normal eat rabbit food at my desk lunch.Thank you for the review of Ormond Plantation Restaurant. Yes, you visited our establishment at the one of the busiest times of the year! We thank you for your understanding and patience. We are very happy to hear you all enjoyed our cuisine; your selections included some of most popular dishes. Christine is a wonderful asset to our business, we are happy to hear of the good service.Thank you for choosing Ormond for your visit and choice of indulging. We do hope you and your family visit again. Please enjoy a wonderful holiday season.Ormond Plantation
