We are an old style family restaurant, that feels like you are having lunch or dinner at your neighbors house.
We enjoyed the food, service, and ambience. Prior to ordering, the server brought a sampling board servings of six different menu items. We are from a Louisiana, so we are probably a bit more discerning than some guests. It was definitely better than average in terms of most food that is supposedly Cajun. My husband had the catfish and shrimp combo plate, and I had the lunch shrimp poboy. Both were quite good and a good size portion. We enjoyed the authentic Cajun music while enjoying our meal. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient. We appreciate your review! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Convivial chain dishing up hearty portions of New Orleans-style seafood, steaks, salads & more.
Haileystar and myself celebrated my 50th bday just the 2 of while Carlyjosephine was in Amsterdam. Therefore we spoiled ourselves. I had the voodoo cocktail drink which was great tasting. The baked oysters Haileystar devoured and lobster bisque was amazing. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I am very picky about new spots especially specialty spots like cajun/ creole establishments but this one was very good. Service was good. we were greeted by the owner at the door with a pleasant handshake. The food came out quickly it was fresh full of flavor. I didnt have to put salt or pepper on anything so thats a plus. The boudain balls were my fave. I dont really care for cornmeal battered seafood so thats my only dislike. Everything else gets an A+. I hope to see this one succeed. Oh yeah prices very reasonable and you get alot of food. Two thumbs up
Newly Renovated Restaurant with a new menu.
Located in the Ramada IAH East, the Dolphin Grill is a decent option for hotel guests. Unfortunately there isn't anything within walking distance, so if you don't have a car and don't want to shell out $$ for an Uber, this is your best bet. Food was very average and a little over priced. Happy hour drinks and appetizers were a good value. This restaurant seems to be very understaffed, so be prepared to wait.

Chose this restaurant on the advise of a local businessman. It's a small no-frills family friendly type restaurant with nice friendly staff. Ordered a large fried catfish plate with french fries and hushpuppies (3 fillets). The catfish were fried perfectly with light breading. They had a very light taste (not muddy) with a flaky consistency. The hushpuppies were also good; not greasy like at some restaurants. This one is definitely on my repeat list. http://www.fishtalesusa.com/
