Itâs so sad that one overzealous bartender decides what everyone else likes or MUST like these days. On this evening, I started my first attempt to eat the Kenner location of Zea Rotisserie & Bar. I ordered a drink at the bar, asked for a âMoscow Muleâ. Anyone can google and find the ingredients of this drink even though there are variables. The young lady brought me a drink with cucumber and mint smashed drink that I was about to throw up. I hate both mint and cucumber in my drinks. I asked for a âPlain Simple Ordinary Good Old Moscow Muleâ. She told me that she must make it the same way but she can strain the mint and the cucumber after she makes it, canât help with the smashed cucumber. Thatâs my only choice. So I left!Ended up at the Clearview location because I love their food and thought may be the overzealous bartender is only limited to the Kenner location. I WAS WRONGI escaped the mints but the smashed cucumber and a slice of cucumber was still in the drink.THE MOST ARROGANT PART WAS THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR A DRINK CALLED âFRESH MULEâ NOT MOSCOW MULE WHAT I ORDERED.About a year ago, I had a conversation with the bartender at the Kenner location and he told me he came up with this new idea on this drink and he might offer it to customers who wants it. Well, now itâs the law. This OVERZEALOUS bartender is shoving in your throat a drink that he doctored himself with smashed cucumber and even changed the name of the drink. If you order a âMoscow Muleâ you will get a âFresh Muleâ. Oh well, as much as I loved the food here, I canât go anymore. I canât drink a drink with mint and smashed cucumber.Just for an idea: You could put it in the menu for the customer to make a choice whether he/she wants a Moscow Mule or a Fresh Mule! Or, just ask the customer if he/she wants a regular drink or a doctored drink by the overzealous bartender???The last I checked, a restaurant is part of the hospitality industryWe are very sorry to hear about this regrettable experience. We will pass along your concerns and hope in the future you will be able to give us another shot. Please feel free to contact us if you desire to.

Upperline Restaurant is New Orleans, LA's local haven where tasty Louisiana cuisine, serious wine, and Creole hospitality is always served.
Owner Joanne is a treasure and her restaurant is to die for. Foie gras c'est magnifique, peartinis delicious, veal medalions in a sumptuous sauce, duck with a garlic/port sauce...yum. Our waiter Gabriel was fabulous. Away from the hubub it's worth the trip as Mr. Deniro and Mr. Bezos have found it too.

Hubby and I both the shrimp pasta and crab cakes. The crab cakes were hard and mostly breading. Had some shells though. The pasta was horrible. No flavor at all!!! Jagers is the best. Also, had a salad which was all grass and no iceberg in it, felt like I was eating like a horse, and the crab and mushroom orderves . The mushrooms at least had good flavor but the crab was mostly breading again. This just wasn't a good dining experience for us. We've been there before and it was just ok but nothing to write home about. Also very expensive. It was $76. for the two of us and all we had was 2 soft drinks, no liquor. Heather was a pretty good waitress but on the whole but a lot ofl the waiters and waitresses were standing around not paying attention to the tables. Most of them were in the little room with the swing doors gossiping and playing around.

This is a NOLA classic with perfect service and perfect food. We had a reservation and were seated right away despite it being crowded. The drinks were perfect and the started came quick and were some of the best. The Red Fish was perfectly prepared and I even enjoyed some bread pudding. We even saw the Manning's!

A roadside watering hole with great food! Open seven days a week at 11am. Great lunch specials during the week and live music every Friday and Saturday night.
This is a local establishment located right across the street from the river. It's a short drive from downtown NOLA. First and foremost, you must come here on a Monday to get the red beans and rice. We've managed to visit here twice now and on a Monday just for this dish. My hubby got the special cheeseburger and it was delicious. The appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes is not to be missed. It's a large enough serving for 2-3 people. They are HUGE and delicious. I've not had anything but the red beans and rice, but I am sure everything on the menu is delicious. We cannot wait to visit again.

If I lived nearby I would be a regular. Super friendly staff. The food is outstanding. This day I had the Boudin Balls and Seafood Gumbo. The Boudin Balls were very good. The Seafood Gumbo is special among the best I have ever eaten.
