We stopped there for lunch. They have a special till 14:00 and we took fish . It was fillet in mango souce and was done well. The soup also was very testy. Finnally the cakes... Wide selection and of great taste.If you after lunch and cake , I recommend this restaurant.

After a walk through the streets of Gengenbach (don't miss the Angelgasse walk), we sat in this beautifully decorated coffee shop and tried a couple of the locally baked cakes.As seasoned cakes taster... I can tell that cakes were amazing!The best Black Forest is one of the best we had.The coffee was great too.The service comes with a smile and they also speak English.

Neben den im Schwarzwald üblichen Vespern gibt es Sonntags oft ein Tagesessen. Man bekommt 2 leckere kleine Schnitzel - Prima ! Leider ist das Personal (reiner Famillienbetrieb) an schönen Tagen völlig überfordert und es kommt zu langen Wartezeiten. Dennoch: der Besuch lohnt sich immer.
