It is the second largest city in the province after the capital, Wuhan. The Three Gorges Dam is located within its administrative area, in Yiling District. German owned international Bistro in Yichang. Peters Bistro has a diverse menu of western dishes ranging from Italian Pizza, Spagetthi with Bolognese Sauce to different Burger from selfmade buns, German Schnitzel, German Sausages, coffee and Double chocol

For expats and tourists visiting Yichang in particular it is great to on occasion have a little taste of something other than the local cuisine. Peter's Bistro comes from the couple behind previous Walking Street expat favourite Pizza Romantico. Peter, a German expat and his Chinese wife have recently opened Peter's Bistro just a few blocks from tourist hotspot Wanda Plaza. The new location is rather quaint and the food is delicious with a wide selection of interesting pizzas on the menu along with other European flair such as German Schnitzel, a variety of sausage platters and of course Peter's Burger. Lastly the prices are very reasonable for Western fare in China. Certainly a place worth visiting when you're in need of a little taste of home.
