Heading to Bendigo for an exhibition at the art gallery and stopped her for breakfast on the way through. Everything from the service, people, coffee and food was superb. The fire was crackling, blankets outdoors for those needing to be out there. Bit cold for us at 2 degrees. When deciding where to stop on our return trip, decided Little Swallow needed an afternoon tea yes too. Again, all wonderful and so pleased we returned. Will be heading to Kyneton to visit the markets and hope to be able to visit this cafe. If you are looking for. A stop on a drive also, easy to get on and off highway, not far, and simple, Thanks Little Swallow team

Urban Vibes // Country Location. All day breakfast, lunch and dinners (Friday and Saturday) bagels, house made treats, raw vegan treats, GF Options. Allpress Espresso and a selection of local beer and wines. 23 Victoria Street Macedon Vic 3440.
We took my 87 year-old Father-in-Law here for a luncheon catch-up with my hub and daughter. The food was excellent. All dishes were delicious, but I was most impressed by the BLT bagel my FiL had, with such a generous amount of gorgeous crispy bacon. Very happy with the manager, one of two, I think. I felt like they genuinely care about their business and love what they do. The wait staff are slim, tattooed and groovy. The peanut butter and chocolate slice I shared with my daughter was super delicious. We all left very happy, as even though my FiL was out-of-place age-wise, he was definitely not made to feel that way and he really enjoyed it. My teen also enjoyed her 'Blue Heaven' milkshake!

Made an early start out of Melbourne en route to visiting Hanging Rock in Central Victoria. Had reports about the Trading Post as being a good spot for breakfast. We were not disappointed. Excellent coffee served along with tasty reasonably priced food. Would certainly stop in again if in the Mt Macedon area. Also a great selection of local produce and gift ware including olive oil, wine, honey and toiletries etc.

MH was sold recently from the original foodie owner and sadly, as often occurs, the new owner disappoints. I had Croque Monsieur and my guest the Pastie. Pastie, dry, plain, bland. CM simply terrible. Tough cheese grilled on toastSee pics. Letâs hope it was a one off. Had I been asked how it was would have said so, was not asked.
