Awesomeness in a cup!!! Amazing good and a large array of seating nooks and crannies
This place is a great find. We had a late breakfast/early lunch here and were very pleased. The owner, Gustavo, is a kick and his wife, Monica is sweet, helpful, and a great counterpart to the manic Gustavo. The decor is home made by Gustavo and is eclectic, old fashioned, funky, and just plain fun. The menu is good and they are willing to make dietary adjustments and do so cheerfully. We will definitely be back to this off the beaten path find. Thank you Gustavo, Monica, and to the wonderful hispanic cook who was also really sweet and helpful.
Fine coffee drinks, real fruit smoothies, breakfast fare and daytime small bites, and featuring, (da-dada-DAAH), Crater Frozen Custard (tm) ice cream in a fun, rustic-eclectic atmosphere. Downtown Central Point, Oregon; the location of our cafe is beside
Not only is the frozen custard delicious (they have other treats too) but the atmosphere is amazing as well! From sitting in big comfy chairs reading books or playing games, to sitting at a bar looking out on the main drag (Pine St) in Central Point watching people and cars go by, itâs got a spot for you and your gang to have a cold snack or dessert on your trip through Southern Oregon.Raspberry & Peanut Butter is a tasty duo in case youâre not sure what to order.Oh and did I mention thereâs an adorable little gate that leads to a clothing boutique? Good morning, higgiek11.Wow, what a great review! Thank you so much for all of the wonderful things you have mentioned about our new café. I appreciate that you pointed out many of the other aspects of the café (décor, ambience, the adjoining Boutique), beyond our featured product Crater Frozen Custard ice cream. We love Central Point and wanted to bring something special to the downtown, for the folks of Central Point to enjoy. With reviews such as yours, we are likely to attract travelers off of I-5 as well, so thank you for doing this Tripadvisor review.Cheers!Hew - Co-Owner

I've seen this restaurant for years, but as I'm usually not too impressed with the restaurants in Central Point, I never stopped in. We finally went there for breakfast. The servers were very friendly. I had the Vegetarian Eggs Benedict, which was quite good. My only issue was that it was drowning in a sea of Hollandaise. Less would have been much better as it made it really messy to eat. Otherwise, we enjoyed The Palms Cafe very much.

We have visited several times and always found the waitresses to be very friendly. Food is always good and basic. They are not open on Sundays which is a shame.

We look for a Shariâs whenever on the road in the Northwest. They donât disappoint. Since pies are a specialty, deserts are a must. And they offer wine & beer. Good is fine; service exemplary. This location was right next to our La Quinta Hotel. Handy. I just wish we had more Shariâs locations in California.

Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere.Had salmon omlet and eggs with frwnch toast biscuits and lattes were very bitter and resulted in upset stomach later on.Biscuits were tasty and great.Eggs were nice, butnothing special.Orange cake for dessert, wasnt amazing. A bit dry and the frosting was flavorless. Just tasted like butter.Might try again, maybe we chose less good itemsfrom menu.

We were traveling through the area at dinner time and chose it because of the great reviews although I wasnât even in a burger mood. The food was amazing! There were creative combinations as well as classics. They also had neat wild game burger options such as elk, buffalo, and camel. My beef burger had huckleberry jam and jalapeño cream cheese on it which was delicious! We are gonna try this combo on our burgers at home! My boyfriend had an elk burger that he couldnât stop talking about! As we were eating and for the rest of the day he kept saying âwowâ and âthat was a good burgerâ although he is not one to get excited or impressed over much. We ate here as part of a 24 day road trip through Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Wyoming where we were eating 1-2 meals out per day and this was our favorite meal of the trip in regards to the taste of the food!!! The outside of the small restaurant doesnât look impressive but the food and service is great! Highly recommend!!!!

I've only had breakfast here, but what I've eaten was great. I've had egg dishes and the steak and eggs, all cooked to perfection with great service.
