Family run Bistro/Cafe and offers really good, well presented food. We provide various quality refreshments depending on the time of day. Near to the train station we are ideally situated for commuters and busy people on the go, a well deserved bistro din
My friend and I stopped for coffee and cake at the Papillon during a cycle ride along the North Downs Way. There is seating both inside and outside. The service was friendly and efficient, the coffee and cake excellent, and the price very reasonable. We would highly recommend the Papillon.

Six of us, four adults and two children went to this cafe whilst visiting Chartwell and I for one wish we hadn't bothered. Now it was during half term school holiday and yes it was raining but instead of finding a cheery place to get warm we found ourselves in a very packed, not to clean cafe where the staff just didn't seem to care as long as they got their money. Tables were in short supply and consequently piles of previous occupants dishes were stacked up and even when cleared by staff the tables were no cleaned. It was very busy and we stood in a queue for a good ten minutes only to find when we arrived at the serving counter that the soup to be changed from French onion to squash and a nice server telling us that 'no that lady there got the last baked potato' . How can you run out of baked potatoes for goodness sake? The price of the food and drinks were expensive and there seemed to be a genuine lack of care or concern to customers. Some direction and management would certainly not go amiss. I will go back to Chartwell hopefully but not to this cafe and next time we will be taking a picnic - I suggest you do the same.

A regular "pit-stop" for an excellent coffee mid-morning to recover from shopping trauma - outdoor covered and heated seating area - I consider this a vital asset as I can restore my nicotine level.Moving on: a good and varied menu for a light lunch - look for Specials - poached eggs on a spinach base my favourite. Friendly and attentive service.

Lovely café full of wartime memorabilia. On the 320 Bus Route from Bromley South BR on the bus. You order from the waitress in the hatch once you have decided what to eat.My Ulster Fry, £6.30, put other breakfasts elsewhere into second place by a long distance.Good flavoured varied texture bacon. Flavourful and thinly sliced, moist black pudding. Baked Beans. A herby sausage. Gently cooked egg, flavourful. And an excellent slice of each of soda bread and fried bread, both with a hint of sweetness.Perfect.Barclays is nearby, as is Waitrose, a small library, and the 320 back goes past some gorgeous scenery out of Biggin Hill, Keston, Nash etc, before returning to suburbia after Bromley Common.Dear Sir Thank you for taking the time to write a review .Kind regards Sally and spitfire team

ToasT OxTed is a family run, independent cafe situated on Station Road East in central Oxted. You can visit for Breakfast,Lunch,Brunch and even dinner on a Friday evening when we open as a night cafe, Whichever day you visit we hope you'll share our infec
Have visited three times now and each time has got a little worse. Today we ordered two halloumi and beet hummus sandwiches, a flat white and a Turmeric Latte. The sandwiches had little flavour (which was disappointing but itâs fine, you just know not to order it next time) but most disappointing was the Latte. It was terrible and even after we politely said it was not nice we were not offered another drink and still asked to pay for it. Iâm sorry but if your customer does not enjoy the drink you have produced, you make them an alternative. The coffee was also burnt today. We liked this place before but this has left a bitter taste for us.Hi,We're really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit to us, we don't always get it right but we surely go to the moon and back to put things right when we discover we've dropped the ball. Unfortunately its gut wrenchingly frustrating when we're not given the opportunity to do so..You guys spent 1.5 hours with us today, polished off your food & as you described left some of the turmeric latte, having spoke with your server ( our senior waitress ) she felt that you had not made it clear there was an issue? If you had so she would of reacted accordingly...Each and every one of our staff on shift today ( Including myself ) is trained to respond efficiently & sympathetically to any complaint raised and had we of been aware of any of your grievances we would of offered you replacements or indeed discounted items not consumed from your bill.On the day of your visit the coffee had been extracting bang on the note at 25 seconds at 19g a pop, we dial this in every morning with the group heads being back flushed after each rush, its incredibly unlikely the coffee was burnt - We were frequently complemented on it at the time of your visit. We take pride in our work & work hard we do to maintain standards, You mentioned you 'liked this place before' - We would of appreciated you taking the time to leave some positive feedback previously. You were kind enough to respond to my private message but havent replied since, you mentioned in this message you left lots of your food but the cctv camera seems to suggest otherwise, its hard to pinpoint the truth in the matter .My original offer of returned your £25 still stands, please do get in touch to arrange this. Thanks

Small coffee shop with a conservatory attached and a courtyard out back (hence the name!) Filled with herbs and other edible plants! Situated in the pretty town of Westerham, Kent. Local, homemade foods made with love and served with a smile! Oh and outsi
What a little treasure trove. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast and coffee that was repeatedly topped up. Wonderful gesture. Peaceful too. Weâll be back soon!

Stopped here with my husband and pup as were starving after a beautiful but challenging 12k walk around Westerham (highly recommend the walking routes!) They donât accept dogs (no problem, we sat on one of two tables outside) and ordered a baguette each. For two baguettes (accompanied with a few lettuce leaves and a cherry tomatoes) plus two coffees the bill was just over £20.... fine I thought, having lived in London for many years we are used to inflated prices, but only if the food and service is worth it. This was not. The baguettes were charged at an additional £0.80 from âsandwichâ option. Fine I thought, we were starving so wanted something a little heartier. But the baguettes served were those packaged ones you buy from Tesco and stick in the oven. Not a proper baguette style you expect from a lovely little cafe. Service also very slow - inside there were 4 small tables. Our baguettes were not at all fancy to prepare and served only with 4 leaves and a cherry tomato each but took 30mins to receive food. Very disappointed and wonât be re visiting. Plenty of other cute independent cafes around Westerham and surround where you can take a pup and get much more value for your money. Service was however friendly.
