Things to do in Waterloo
We are a pie cafe that specializes in sweet and savoury pies and tarts. We also offer a variety of fresh salads, homemade soups and craft sandwiches.
What an absolute treat it is to have this fine cafe and bakery so close to where I live. You are immediately greater warmly by their affable proprietor, Diane or a staff member upon your arrival. They have wraps and salads but their specialty is sweet and savory pies. I usually have their lunch special, which includes a choice of a delicious soup of the day or two side salads loaded with tasty items and of course their great savory pies. There are chicken pot pie, butter chicken, with spices to steak pot pies to quiches. All are assembled in a delicate, flaky and flavorful crust that make you impatient for the next bite. Let's not forget their outstanding fruit pies that have incredible balance of real fruit and of course have that great pie crust. Prices are quite reasonable for their high quality and consistent pies. Small pies are $5.50 and the large ones are $11.50. Lunch specials are only $10.00 for one of the tastiest values in town. Just love pie simply makes the best pies in North America! Very Highly Recommended! We are very happy that you enjoyed your experience. Thanks for the great review.

I've been to Teremok many times over the years and the service and quality of the food never varies: it is always superb! While you can't choose wrong here (and today I came for a yummy breakfast) their borscht and perogies are at the very pinnacle of greatness.

Darlise Cafe is a breakfast-lunch restaurant in Downtown Kitchener. Most items on the menu are made in house
Don't look at the GPS where to find this place as I walked around a few blocks from the Medical Clinic (finally made it).Ordered a denver sandwich as I needed to drive another 1.5 hours to my next destination. It is a busy place with one waitress who was very nice. The Darlise Denver was okay as it was in the tad side of being dry. I wish I ordered something else but such is life.It seemed the other customers were very enjoying their meals very much and since I only had a denver this is why I voted 4/5.Clean establishment helps as well for the vote.

I first visited Rumbletum for lunch with some friends. I'm from Kitchener, and work UpTown Waterloo and although I love all of the local restaurants and cafés directly in the KW region, it was a nice change to visit somewhere a little out of the way. I had the veggie sandwich and added turkey - just to be annoying. The woman who took my order chuckled at the irony but took my sandwich modification without hesitation. I love supporting local, and independent businesses. I loved the service, food and atmosphere of Rumbletum Café & Gifts so much so that I approached them about volunteering there a few weeks later!

I have eaten at the Princess Cafe several times. It is always very good. But today, my goodness, I had the best panini I have ever tasted. It was the Californian, on dark brown bread, with cheddar, avocado, grilled peppers, fresh ripe tomato, pesto, and a thick layer of herbs and arugula. Every bit of it was bursting with flavor; it was cooked to perfection. ($9)My friend had a salad with golden and red beets, fresh spinach and a bunch of other things. She said it was exceptional.

Located at the heart of Uptown Waterloo, Cafe 22 is a hidden gem where guests can enjoy mouthwatering lunch with co-workers, aromatic specialty coffee and rich dessert with friends, and relax with a glass of wine and unique charcuterie boards with a date.
You would miss it if you didn't already know it was there. However, once you've been there you are likely to go back! I had dinner there for the first time on a week night with 2 girlfriends. I was looking for a light dinner that would be reasonably priced so they recommended Cafe 22. Well, it did not disappoint! The decor and ambiance are just lovely. The menu has salads, wraps, paninis and desserts. They also have a great wine menu with most of the wines being from the Niagara region.I had the spinach salad ($10.50) and added chicken to it ($3.50). One friend had a tune wrap and the other had a panini. We were all satisfied with our meals, and that spinach salad was one of the best I have ever had. My meal was close to $15, the glass of wine was about $10, plus tip, I paid just over $40 altogether.I'm looking forward to returning and having that salad again!

Timeless Cafe & Bakery is located in the original hen-house of a century old farm homestead in North Waterloo. Our Cafe is a hidden gem, surrounded by high-tech and other diversified businesses, and adjacent neighbourhoods. This beautiful old structure ha
I stopped here on business travel. It was a little hard to find but it was worth the search. The food was delightfully tasteful. Every single bite of the salmon wrap made me savor the flavor until the next bite. My business partner expressed the same experience. I cannot wait for a return trip!
