Die Kuchen waren gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Was leider weder gut aussah noch geschmeckt hat war der Kaiserschmarren. Entweder war das ein Fertigprodukt oder schon so vorbereitet dass er nur noch auf den Teller musste. In ganz Bayern gibt es keinen Kaiserschmarrn in 4 eckigen Würfeln. Wenn nicht die Zeit ist auf einen frischen Kaiserschmarrn zu warten sollte man keinen bestellen und auch keinen anbieten.

Nice Café with a breathtaking scenic view from the sunny and covered patio. Nice rooms indoors, great food, especially the large homemade pies and even bigger (ice-) cream puffs. The also have nice rooms and a stable for their horses. Good value!

One of the disadvantages of being in the Alps: it can rain. Nothing better in that situation than to go inside Cafe Obermarkt and enjoy its wide selection of coffee, cakes and ice-creams. My wife had a "Tschocolati Chili-Cacoyer". Delicious!The service is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, but a bit old-fashioned though: red carpet on every table and white crotchet curtains.Recommended!

While strolling down the streets of Garmisch-Partenkirchen we thought of having lunch in some pure local eatery. Ratscafe was the right choice: Weisswurst with pretzel was exceptional and so was large salad with chanterelles (there was a special menu with dishes made of this type of mushrooms). The waiter was quick and polite.Thank you very much for your great review !It was a pleasure for us to serve you !And we had been proud to present our local chantetelles, because just now is our mushroom saison!
