Reviews on Cafe food in Wahiawa, Hawaii, United States. Wahiawa (Hawaiian: Wahiawā) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States, on the island of Oahu. It is located in the Wahiawa District, on the plateau or "central valley" between the two volcanic mountains that comprise the island. In Hawaiian, wahi a wā means "place of noise", perhaps a reference to the fact that heavy surf on the North Shore could be heard from here, or to the sounds of the ancient military training exercises conducted on these plains. The population was 17,821 at the 2010 census.
Things to do in Wahiawa
My husband and I have been stopping in each time we visit the are since it opened. The employees are so friendly and the coffee is great... just the way you like it! Vanilla macadamia nut or macadamia nut coconut lattes are my favorites but nothing has disappointed! They gave a frequent buyer program so ask for a card and keep it in the box for future visits and eventually a free coffee! Cute little store with pleasant and relaxing atmosphere!

Kahumana organic farms and cafe is amazing! Fresh! Delicious! On my last visit I ordered the daily special: Tandoori chicken with brown rice, farm veggies and a mango salsa...hands down perfection in each and every bite!I also enjoyed a glass of refreshing hibiscus tea. $3-Farm tours are offered $15- for individuals, minimum of 4 or $60 for a private tour.I look forward to trying the farm to table tour in the near future$50- per person, the tour includes a farm tour, a Kahumana Kooler, soup or salad, entree and dessert. See the website for dates/times.
Our tour bus stopped there on the Home of the Brave Tour. Nice buffet. Also, a great place for a beer and to watch a sporting game.

Nice little cafe in Wahiawa that has a unique Latin American flair found no where else on Oahu. I recommend the Mangonada which is a Mango smoothie with Chamoy sauce, Tajin and Tamarind. It is really good, a bit salty and spicy and just right. The coffee and tea are good too. Small selection of good pastries.

I have read and heard many reviews and my husband and I finally decided to try. We arrived around 10am and was not busy. I ordered Belgian Waffle with fresh strawberries with side of Bacon. My husband order the Local Breakfast. Our food arrived and it was served COLD. The scoop of butter on my waffle would not melt because waffle was cold. I quietly ate and never mentioned it to my husband. On our drive home, he asked me if my food was cold..and said his breakfast was served cold. He too noticed the butter on my waffle never melted. One other comment, the coffee they serve needs to be a better blend. As a coffee drinker, the coffee was not great. Im sorry to give low review, but no matter how tasty the food is, cold food was a disappointment. Service was great.
