This is a lovely Garden Centre, it is packed with unusual items. The Plants all look very healthy, plenty of choice and the prices are competitive. It is truly a place where you could go and spend a few hours just browsing around. There is a large Restaurant/Cafe which has a great outside space. Lots of Homemade Cakes on offer and it is wheelchair friendly. There were Gluten Free Cakes. A great place to go and buy presents for Birthdays and Christmas. There is also an organic shop next door which had lots of interesting offerings. It is so refreshing to go to a family garden centre, so much better than the chain ones!

Once again another visit to our favourite eating place in Great Torrington. Jamie was his normal enthusiastic self and Claire just got on with the job in hand. The gammon ham, eggs and chips absolutely perfect, SWMBOS had tuna and cheese panini, the others had eggs and chips, no moans from anyone, just mutterings about how good the food was. The service great and the food fantastic. Thank you once again Claire and Jamie we will be back.Thank you for your review and always look forward to seeing you all again

Visited at lunchtime and sat outside with our little dog. The sun was shining but it was just lovely slightly in the shade, down the alley where this little cafe is situated. We had delicious fresh crab sandwiches on granary bread with coleslaw and side salad. The coffee was excellent and it was good value for money. The service was quick and the cafe very friendly.Highly recommend a visit if shopping in Barnstaple.

Great place to visit and loved the atmosphere and food. I had the afternoon tea with my Nan and there was lots of it! The tea room was situated right by the river and the large windows meant great views across. We were welcomed and the assortment of food was bought to our table, it included sandwiches, quiche, sausage roles, scones and a delicious selection of cakes.

Visiting Barnstaple by train from Exeter and needed somewhere to eat and thankfully found this place, it was ideal. From the staff to the food, from the customer facilities to the cleanliness, there is nothing negative to say. The menu had a good selection and in the end I went for the fried eggs on toast washed down with a peppermint tea and it was delicious.

Interesting plates of food from around the world, delicious coffee, homemade cakes and refreshing craft soda. Come spend some time on our block.
Stopped in here by chance for a late lunch after spending the morning exploring Barnstaple. We thought it might be a good choice as it was busy and the menu looked interesting. We couldnât have made a better choice. We both had the Argentinian steak with chimichurri and agreed it was the best steak we had on our 3 week vacation. What an unexpected surprise. Pleasant service too! Wanted to come back for more but ran out of time.
