Amser Da provides a relaxing and comfortable environment to try delicious food and drink sourced from all over Wales. We feature a wide range of producers such as Llaeth y Llan, Edwards of Conwy, Apple County, Great Orme Brewery, Purple Moose, Patchwork P
We've driven past Amser Da so many times and said we must pay a visit, well this weekend we finally did, and we're sorry we've left it so long to try this exceptional bistro/cafe. The food is typical bistro style, but with something extra - Welsh bacon, Perl Wen cheese and fresh pesto on my flatbread made a delicious lunch. It won't be long before we go back. And the chap behind the counter was very patient and allowed us to practice our Welsh !
Never been in; always closed when I pass. Looks very 70's from the outside, and that says, to me, get in there! Well, I would, but as I said....If it's as good as it looks from the outside, (plain, basic, no modernity just to keep up), then within lurk potential delights?

This was our third visit to the Ugly House and Iâm positive weâll visit again. We have always been greeted with a smile from the lovely staff and have luckily managed to get a table. The food is amazing with huge portions! We can eat quite a bit and I think I would be best to share on my next visit. My eyes are definitely bigger than my belly! The sandwiches are fresh and tasty and come with a lovely side salad. The cakes are also delicious. Such a quirky place with friendly and inviting staff. We will be back.

Dropped in here last weekend and a pair of us opted for a breakfast. It was a bit chaotic and there was a wait for food (to be fair we were warned of this before ordering). Food was tasty and a generous portion was presented. Staff were polite and helpfull. Would stop here again and have no problem recommending the place.

Chips to die for- proper chips, hand cut and a good size!! I could just leave the review at that but everything we ate was fab. We had a range of sandwiches, chips and I had a very nice full English. Itâs definitely cafe food but really good quality.Itâs at the end of a little parade on the Main Street between the wooden mill and the path up to the Fairy Falls and opposite the Fairy Falls pub. You need to pay with CASH which necessitated a whip round the 14 of us that descended on them but Iâm glad we got the money together as this was the best cafe Iâve been too in a long time and not one of the 14 of us were disappointed. Many thanks to the two ladies in there who worked like trojans to get us fed! Weâd definitely go back rather than use any of the other eating options!

As a photographer living on Anglesey I have been aware of this place for a long time. My wife and I had a spare afternoon so after a bit of shopping in Bangor we set off for Llanrwst. Unfortunately the weather was not very good, it had been perfect on Anglesey. The cafe is in a delightful spot, next to the river. Covered in red and orange ivy it is a spectacular sight. The ground was soggy as a result of recent floods which affected the cafe. The welcome was warm and sincere. The inside is just as pretty as the outside. We had tea and scones (with jam and cream), all delicious. The service was excellent. I dashed out to take the obligatory pic, getting wet in the process. Was it worth it? You bet. We will return, and we have added it to our list of places to bring guests. Thank you.

You will not be disappointed visiting this place. There are a couple of negative reviews, however, these two are from two ignorant, rude and malicious people, whose behaviour and attitude is shameful. Come and visit and experience the delights of this friendly and hospitable retreat. A haven of peace in the chaos of the modern world.

Oriel Ffin y Parc Gallery began in 2010, and has quickly grown to become one of the most successful art galleries in Wales. We currently represent over forty artists, ranging from exciting young newcomers to some of the most established and successful art
Ffin Y Parc had been recommended by a friend for lunch, so we went to have a look at the gallery and have some lunch.Lovely setting, with lovely views over the beautiful Conwy valley, the restaurant/ cafe had a prime position. The menu was nice and simple, but not the run of mill lunchtime menu offered by the masses.I chose the spinach and chorizo dish which was not only good value, but absolutely delicious.I will make it my business to return to this little gem, what a find!Oh, and the art gallery was good too!
