La verdad que me sorprende un poco la relativamente baja puntuación que tiene este local. Porque, bajo mi punto de vista, tiene un menú del dÃa variado, bien preparado, a buen precio y servido muy rápido.En mi caso me decanté por las alubias, y estaban impresionantes, congrio a la plancha de segundo y tarta de queso de postre. Todo a muy buen nivel.A parte de esto, el restaurante está en la parte alta, con lo que te aisla poco del ruido de la cafeterÃa, y la gente del servicio es muy amable y eficaz.

Fuimos a merendar un sábado por la tarde. Pedimos 5 crepes: dos de chocolate, uno de chocolate con nata y dos de queso azul con cebolla.A pesar de ser las 5 de la tarde, no tenÃan disponibilidad en la mayor parte de los crepes salados (el cocinero habÃa ido a hacer la compra en ese momento). Crepes de tamaño grande. Tanto dulces como salados tienen la misma masa, muy dulce. En nuestra opinión, demasiado empalagosos, cuesta terminar de comerlos.

Local amplio, bien situado, decorado correctamente, comida normal, servicio desastroso. El personal fue amable, pero les faltaba profesionalidad claramente. Tardaron una eternidad en servir los primeros cuando la afluencia de público no era elevada, nos ofrecieron los postres cuando aún no habÃan servido los segundos, olvidaron traer varios platos y tuvimos que reclamarlos... Un despropósito. Otro detalle poco agradable es el olor a comida que desprendes al abandonar el local. Dudo mucho que repitamos.

Este bar es todo un clásico en la localidad. Es una cafeterÃa normal y corriente, el local es pequeño pero tiene mucho ambiente. La relación calidad-precio es buena, quizá un poco caro. Está situado en pleno centro de Torrelavega.

We went to have three meals and in the end, 2 meals out of the three we had were poor, I'd say below average. The person who served was friendly but in the end, I'd recommend the "gambas afundadas" but not the croquetas (too floory) neither the "mejillones a la vinegreta" (overcooked).

I have been there for lunch, for coffee and for the apperitive. They don't have many dishes to choose in the set menu but a couple was enough. Coffee here is pretty good; the decoration is modern and cute. They have some tables outside if need to smoke or enjoy the good weather. It has a good atmosphere at midday and in the afternoon.

This restaurant is really special. The service, the food, the atmosphere- everything! You get to cook your own steak on a hot stone but if you're not a meat person there are lots of great fish options too! The deserts are also amazing- everything is home made and just so tasty! If you get the chance to go here, don't miss out!!
