Iâm so sad that Homegrown Health is not what is used to be. My poached eggs tasted only of white vinegar from the poaching water, the toast wasnât buttered to the crusts, the spinach was swapped with a wilted sad looking pile of mesclun lettuce mix and everything was covered in dried mixed herbs. My fresh juice was delicious and the staff were friendly but it was no where near the quality and standard of meals Iâve had there in the past.Iâm sorry to say but I donât think Iâll go back.

Small cafe with outdoor footpath seating. Friendly and professional atmosphere. Great food. Love the coffee and their chai tea spot on. They have a upstairs small function room with balcony view. Can be quite busy at times, particularly weekends, so if in a group would recommend a booking

Visited on the weekend and loved this place! Burgers were really tasty and staff were so lovely. They made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The atmosphere outside was buzzing with buskers singing and markets on. Only downside would be that we paid for a medium chips to share and they gave us a small. We didn't notice till we were off to our destination.

We have lunched here several times over the last few months and have found the staff very friendly and helpful and the food always delicious! We have had various dishes and without exception have never been disappointed with the flavour or the value for money. The old house has been tastefully renovated but the one thing that lets the place down is the restrooms. Not sure about the mens but the ladies is really ordinary - the air vent is completely caked up with dust and needs a thorough clean and a quick paint job would work wonders. Hate to whinge because the place is lovely but it really does need to improve the toilet facilities.

Great food. Excellent pleasant waitstaff. Really enjoyed my lunch . Arrived there about 2 pm and the place was busy, with people coming and going. Lots of car parks

Real wood fired pizza. Real fresh pastas. Real Italian cheeses and flours. Real Italian meats. Real Italian olive oils. Real food. Real house made lemonade. Real house made desserts. Have a Real Food experience. Eat at Piccolo Papa.
Needed to get out of house and this is a lovely place to go. Donât go frequently however it always impresses. This is an Italian restaurant with a more traditional slant that is pizzas are decidedly different from a take away variety usually with only one filling just like when in Italy. We had a pasta dish and a pizza and both were really good.Parking on street outside.Recommend

We returned after a long absence for a 'special' dinner. We had made a booking (with several emails asking us to confirm). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our main took 40 mins to arrive , were informed that 'well done' takes a little longer, therefore needed more wine. The meal was well presented and enjoyable.Decided to share a dessert with coffee and ordered with another member of staff.Again, there was delay in the ariival, even though we could see the staff who would prepare it. We were informed the coffees would be complimentary.Very pleasant meal, but maybe attention required with the timings.
