The Baskin Robbins ice creams is among the most popular ones in Kerala and this outlet near Aristo Junction is very famous. I have been to the outlet several times and I like their vanilla flavor plain ice cream, Three cheers chocolate, Black currant, Honey nut crunch, Mangoberry magic milk shake, Red velvet roll cake etc to name few. The staff are very cordial and service minded that the outlet is very popular. The rates are also very cheap compared to what we get in some unbranded ice cream parlors.

The manager of the resort where I was staying took me to the shop in front of this place a few days ago and I was very impressed by how clean and tidy it was. I could only buy nuts but the choice of chocolates and Indian snacks was vast.Today we ate in the restaurant behind and as I'm on a strict ayurvedic diet I couldn't have anything fried. I went for a rice dosa but they didn't have a paneer (indian cheese) version. I asked them if they could make one with cheese and onion and what came out was wonderful and delicious. The masala tea also came in an interesting way - not pre mixed - and also tasted great.My friends had masala tea and 4 veg cutlets, 2 veg and 2 chicken. The bill came to 204R! I left 250 as a tip.Everything else looked so tasty I would highly recommend this place.

We loved sitting watching the fishermen pulling their nets in, listening to the ocean and eating lovely food here. Excellent value for money and overall an excellent memory of Kovalam.

Stopped off here since it's a legend in Kovalam.The position is perfect, with tables facing the beach. The choice on the menu ranges from German to Indian to Italian so there is something for all tastes. Service was fine and everything was made from scratch.Prices were on the high side and the Italian pasta sauce was sweet, but really fancied a change from the curry so not a huge problem.

Visited the Kaffeehaus in M.P Appan Road yesterday with family. Very good atmosphere and ambiance. Small but cute place for a family dinner with courteous staff. Food was also wonderful and tasty. Tried some pasta dishes, salads and sandwiches.. Desserts are their specialty. In short the cafe will not disappoint you. Rates are also reasonable.. would love to go again....
