A beautiful setting for a post run bacon sandwich. It was very quiet when we went but it was nice to sit and watch the gliders taking off and landing. The staff were friendly and the sandwiches were well filled and tasty. An ideal place after a walk or run on the cotswold way.

I visited last week and while the food and coffee were lovely, the counter assistant was disinterested and the person delivering the order cleared the used crockery from the table but left it unwiped, including further spillages she made in the process. Very sloppy service for a cafe with such a good reputation.

So many delicious homemade offerings. All look yummy. I had soup which is served with lovely bread. Sat outside in the small seating area. Friendly staff and hard working at a busy deli. Bought dome goodies to take away for later
Local bakery in Stonehouse offering a range of foods and catering services. We make all our sandwiches and filled rolls to order so if you fancy a doorstep sandwich or toasty, filled roll or baguette you will find a wide range of quality fillings to choos
Been here several times, never thought to actually leave a review before - until now. The Bread Basket is a neat little bakery (with limited seating outside); they sell a wide range of baps, banquettes, cakes and other savoury foods such as pasties & sausage rolls - among other things!I canât speak for the entirety of their menu, but Iâve yet to have a bad bap or slice of cake from them, and the staff are always friendly, patient and helpful. Easily the best cafe/bakery in Stonehouse. Itâs a shame that itâs more of a shop than a cafe too, as i think theyâd definitely get the custom were they to expand!

Best of British food served in a Grade II Special Listed building (1500s). Lots of old world character. Seasonal seating outside. Located next to the Gloucester Cathedral main gates. The Comfy Pew is also licensed and serves a selection of local beer, cra
Had a super lunch here today, great welcome, great food and lovely ambiance. This is a one off and well worth supporting. Jasper,Thank you so much for the nice words. Come back and see us again.

Been here a few times and itâs such a good place for breakfast or lunch, reasonably priced and you can eat indoors or out. Had the Eggs Benedict this time and although they were nice, there was something odd about the hollandaise I couldnât put my finger on. It was oddly sweet and not as sharp as Iâd expect. I should have mentioned it at the time, so donât be put off.

Visited on Wednesday for a quiet coffee. As always, the warmest welcome awaited and the service excellent. Genuinely enjoyed the nicest Eccles cake I had EVER tasted, warmed perfectly in the oven, served with a latte. A little gem in a lovely village.

Our restaurant is a lovely place to stop for a snack, or a full meal, with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and far reaching views over the surrounding lake and countryside, its a great place for meeting friends and family. If you are travelling on
We went as a family (2 adults, 1 toddler) to the Garden Centre to see the animals and visit the café for a bite to eat. (This has not been the first time we have visited, we have been a couple of times throughout the year and have visited when they have Santas Grotto there too!)There is plenty of parking in the car park (which can get busy quickly) which is all free. We had a look around the shops (whilst it was on the more expensive side, there are some lovely gift ideas and something for everyone in there!) and saw the animals indoors (there were a few different animals to see: birds, spiders, tortoises, fish and insects!) and proceeded outside to see the giant gorilla statue and the birds in the far corner (chickens, geese and other varieties). We proceeded to the restaurant for some lunch where there were a limited variety of sandwiches available (this was just after the lunch hour rush) but there was plenty to offer regarding food. There's a hot meal area available (the food smelt delicious!) a coffee shop area that had a variety of cakes available and a little lunchbox stall for the children (which included 4 items and a drink) priced at £4.95. My toddler loved the options available and was happjy to choose between the variety of food they had to offer to go in his lunch box (with an option of a picture and creayons to use).My husband and I had the sandwiches (which were lovely - great taste, flavour and seemed very fresh) with the option of chips to be added on (again, we were not disappointed, the chips were hot and tasty!) The coffees were lovely and the view from the café (overseeing the fields and partly the River Severn) were amazing. For the 3 of us to eat and have drinks cost around £30.00 - a little pricier than we would have liked but you do pay for quality! All staff there were friendly and greeted us with a smile.I would recommend this place as a meet up with family and friends there for afternoon lunch (we haven't been for breakfast there yet!) as it's a lovely, clean area that provides something flor everybody there.

Visited here Saturday morning at prime time breakfast and I can see why itâs so busy! I had the 6 item breakfast - it was excellent, presented lovely, perfectly cooked and great value for money. My wife and daughter had bacon sandwiches which were great, very generous portion of bacon - what everyone wants on a Saturday morning! We took a pie to take home and I cannot wait to try, they seemed very popular amongst the other customers too.I would highly recommend The Bay Tree for great customer service, a warm and friendly environment and most importantly - fantastic food!
