My wife and I joined three very good friends for an annual reunion and they took us to this gin bar. At the time of day which we went, there was a deal going - a bottle of wine for £10 or two large gin and tonics (or other mixer) for the same price. This was called £10 tipples on offer Monday - Friday 5 - 7pm. Very friendly, courteous and efficient staff which made it a pleasure to have visited here. What more could anyone want - fabulous company and a lovely bar on a deal with excellent service. There is a huge selection of gins and whiskys if you don't want the deal. We will be back here again - that's for sure.

Have visited this delightful cafe over the past few years and have always enjoyed the food, ambience, as well as the pleasant staff. My only dissatisfaction was regarding how dark it was which detracted a little from the friendly and charming atmosphere. However, on my recent visit, it was a pleasant surprise to see that some improvements had been made which means there is now much more natural light. This has made such a difference and is more in keeping with the welcoming feel of the cafe. During my visit I learned the venue had changed hands as I had the pleasure of meeting the new owners who are also extremely friendly and obviously keen to make a go of it. I can't see any reason why they shouldn't be a huge success and wish them all the very best. Almost forgot! The food and beverages were excellent too!

100 metres inland from Lord Street. Spotless modern friendly establishment. Interesting menu that includes a varied selection of bagels, sandwiches and salads. Difficult to decide what to have! We can recommend the V Club Bagel (avocado, philadelphia, sundried tomatoes, red onion, mixed leaves and balsamic) and the Warm Goats cheese, marinated baby figs and chopped hazelnuts salad. Will return on any future trip.

We are regular visitors to Southport but had never visited Nostalgia Tea Rooms. In the past we were put off by the uninspiring-looking steps leading to the Tea Rooms, but this time we decided to give it a try. Very atmospheric, nostalgic (great background music), and spacious room. Friendly and welcoming smartly dressed waitresses and excellent food and pot of tea. We had soup and sandwich which was spot on. We will definitely call in on our next visit.

Today I took my mother-in-law for Afternoon Tea at Vintage Tea Rooms. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were so fresh, and beautifully presented. They were also able to offer me Oat Milk for my coffee. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and will definitely return. Would recommend a visit.

This was the first time me and my partner have eaten here and on arrival we found it to be clean and well looked after and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was of high standard and tasted amazing with lots of choice on the menu. Iâd highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends. One of Southportâs hidden gems!We will be back again soon :-)

This is a spotlessly clean, wonderful little cafe with warm, welcoming and super friendly staff. The food is outstanding with real quality ingredients, generous portions and well priced.The coconut milkshakes are especially delicious and both my son and I agree are simply the best!Highly recommended for both adults and children alike with an unrivalled children's menu.

Asked for recommendations off friends for a good full English breakfast and here I came. What a gem, clean, airy and bright with friendly smiley service. Good options on menu and reasonably priced. Chose the Breakfast platter plus pot of tea as an extra. Tasty, plentiful, well cooked. The number of diners in early speaks for itself. You won't be disappointed. I like to leave good reviews but this is one of the best! 4 generations of my family dined here for the first time today, the youngest 2 and the eldest 80. Small fish and chips with homemade tarter sauce for my mum and a healthy size fish, chips and curry for my son, both devoured and savoured every mouthful. Fish bites for my granddaughter and chicken, chips and peas for me. It all made for one big happy family on the way home. The service is worthy of an Olympic gold medal, especially the young man who brought our food.This restaurant really is the best fish and chip shop in the north west.

If you don't like this place, then its time to give up. Breakfast was second to none, and a class up from the normal. The interior is from a time gone bye and gives you a real flavour of a bye gone era.
