I had the best ham and salad sandwich EVER at this new cafe in South West Rocks, just on the left as you enter this town, part of the new medical centre. The coffee was great too! Go there if you are feeling peckish because apart from the freshness, it was a very generous serve. Thank you for my very satisfying lunch!Thank you we try and please all our customers

The only positive to this restaurant is that it is located for convenience within the Big 4 Sunshine. I’m not sure if it is managed by the resort or owned separate? Food was average at best. We had what was supposed to be a family chips one day for $7 which was for 4 people at best. They were absolutely drowned in chicken salt which the girl tried to charge me an extra $1 for.Another day I ordered a burger.... what a sloppy mess this was. It couldn’t even be picked up. For $15 I expected a lot better and also assumed it would come with chips..... nope! I also ordered Fish for my son..$14. This was meant to come with a side salad, however I asked if he could have chips instead.... turns out I could, but that was an extra $3!!! Drinks are also overpriced at $4 each for a 375ml can and a popper..... learnt though you can buy drinks in the activity hut for only $2.50 for the same thing. My guess for the exorbitant prices is the amount of staff on, but all this staff and I still waited close to 30 mins for the order above and only 2 coffees with scones and one other meal went out in that time... by no means was it busy. Can’t comment on what their dinner options are like as we didn’t risk it, but it couldn’t be worse. Shame this restaurant was such a let down as it is so convenient having it onsite. Big improvement needed .

Never ceases to surprise me the cost of two regular hit chocolate + large Coffee set me back $15.00DRINKSFROTHY hot HOT chocolate 1/3 milk froth in a small cup and no sugar added in the hot chocolate.Kids stated it was tasty Very hot Coffee, could almost not hold the cup, it was that hot. Needed to take small sips as well, so I didn’t burn my tongue. The coffee had a slight bitter aftertaste, pleased I asked for caramel syrup to be added.OVERALLSatisfactory A little confused by the high ratings shown, but I guess people are generous when on holiday?Hello Kiddhouse. Thank You for your review. My cafe is not only about hot coffee and hot chocolate but the whole experience including food, staff, service. ambience, location and the coffee. We offer good value for money for the cafe experience. We are open 7 days a week for everyone's convenience. The fresh in house baked treats and fresh burgers, sandwiches etc are second to none in SWR.

Perhaps those who found the management unfriendly should have a frank discussion with their mirror. We’ve been numerous times and are always treated cordially. My only criticism is that vegetarians/vegans are not too well catered for. But that said, we are coming back for dinner this Saturday night and the maître D offered to prepare a special vegetarian menu for the four of us. Very happy to recommend this place to nice people. You will enjoy it all. C&R

My family of 4 ate here recently, I had read the reviews in TripAdvisor and thought it would be good, and it was. We enjoyed our breakfast, my husband said the coffee was good too. The food was flavoursome and generous in serving size. My daughter had a lovely smoothie too. I would highly recommend.Thank you AlissaC302 for your review, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience xx
