Located on a real working farm, this cafe and tea room make all the food from scratch including all the homemade cakes and cheesecakes, breakfasts, hearty soups and amazing fat chips together with salads and meals for little ones. The sausages are made on
We had a lovely day at pink pig farm , however the afternoon tea was quite disappointing, wasn't good value for money we had booked for 6 adults and one child which cost 65 pounds for that we got two small open top sandwiches each a scone a bun and a ghost meringue they probably could of made the whole thing for 15 pounds , had to but chips to bulk it out a bit was a disappointing end to a lovely day Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your day. I served you myself with chunky bloomer open sandwiches, one per person, a ghost meringue, large muffin , sausage fingers and a large homemade scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream plus as much tea and coffee as you liked for each person and slightly less for the children's tea. When you questioned me about the amount of sandwiches I said to let me know if you were still hungry afterwards and I would personally make you some more, but you did not request any more. I would never usually question a review but I feel particularly hurt at this one as we did everything we could to make your tea lovely. Best Wishes, Sally
Restaurant open Tuesday - Friday 9am - 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 7.30 am - 4pm. Closed Monday. Breakfasts, light bites and specials served daily. Our Sunday Lunch carveries are our speciality using fresh local produce. Booking recommended.
We stayed in Grange Park Lodges for 4 nights starting on Easter Monday. The lodges themselves are great, very well equipped, clean and tidy. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and the dog to roam around and not get in each others way. The Hot Tub was heaven and the man came round each morning to maintain it. The Bar / Restaurant area was OK - popped in for a drink and a cuppa from time to time and breakfast one day. Its a shame the restaurant is no open in the evenings as when we arrived on the Bank Holiday Monday with limited supplies we needed feeding. Good job a local co-op was sill open. A great little place but need to offer more food / bar options if wanting people to utilise the lodges more.

I frequent this establishment on a regular basis and I've not once been disappointed.very friendly staff (especially Sarah) and very reasonable prices. The steak pie is one of the best meals they do in my opinion, but get there early on busy days coz it does go quickly.very good breakfast menu too.they do desserts and puddings as well but I'm always that full from my main meal that I've never been able to fit one in

I visited today with work friends and had sandwiches and scones for afters. I also had a milkshake which was supposed to be mango but you wouldnât know if you hadnât ordered it - it looked the part but tasted disappointing. Scones were the best part (although jam was very cheap tasting) and Iâd possibly come back for these. My sandwich at £3.50 was pretty disappointing. A toasted sandwich should have at least some sort of garnish but instead it was a slice of bacon, some chicken and cheese sandwiched between two slices of toasted shop bought bread and cut in half. Décor in the cafe is worn and confused: the plastic leather chairs look bizarre alongside the country kitchen ones and the velvet ones look like they belong in an Indian. Staff were pretty curt despite it not being busy. Overall, itâs pretty average.

Met a friend for lunch, first visit for both of us. Had reserved a table and they were busy with most tables taken. Seemed to be short staffed as only one lady taking orders , serving and doing drinks and she seemed a bit stressed! It wasnât clear where the menus were but we found them ourselves and they take orders at the till and itâs pay on ordering. Itâs a nice setting but on a chilly day it felt cold as youâre sat in a large conservatory. Noticed most people sat with coats on! Good menu of all day breakfast items, jacket spuds, sandwiches and they did a soup on the specials board. Good prices as well. Drinks werenât bought to us until we had our food, lady was apologetic. They were happy to top up our teapot so we got about 6 cups from one pot for 2! Both had cake! The biggest slice Iâve ever seen!! 2 pieces for under £5! Both of us wrapped halve each to take home! Good value for money and a nice setting (all be it a bit cold). Will probably return.

Visit this little cafe all the time it's ideal for a full English when needed I sometimes found that they don't always have everything on the menu but always happy when I've ate.the sausages could be better maybe a choice of sausage?? Will return soon.
Beautifully restored former Victorian school house located in the village of Messingham, North Lincolnshire. This is a family owned and managed business which is open 7 days a week. The Old School is now home to Café 1906, an Antique Centre, Sims Flowers
Came for breakfast with 4 other friends. After reading such good reviews we were all actually extremely disappointed. We had a long wait for food and they forgot one of the orders. I ordered a full breakfast with poached egg. The egg was more hard boiled than poached. Expensive for what we all had. Sorry to say we won't be going for breakfast again.Sorry you had to wait a while for your food but all our food is freshly cooked to order and we had 40 orders in before yours. The waitress who is new took it on herself to take your order even though we donât do table service on a Saturday and this was explained to you and we did apologise but we were very busy. All tables are courtesy checked and if you had brought this to our attention we could have rectified this for you.

We really enjoyed our first visit to this excellent cafe which also operates as a cooperative providing many benefits to young people. From the Vegan Thursdays menu we opted for the fishless sandwich with wedges and the pizza swirls. The fishless sandwich comprised of a white roll with 3 'fish fingers', homemade tartare sauce, vegan cheese, chunky wedges and salsa. This was very tasty but I thought the homemade pizza swirls were even better. Puff pastry with freshly made passata, artichoke hearts, black olives, garlic, Italian herbs and melted cheese with a nice mixed salad. This lunch hit the spot and afterwards we had a chat with the friendly and pleasant staff to tell them how much we enjoyed the meal and wishing them all the best for the future.

We serve afternoon teas and light snacks all cakes and scones are fresh baked by me everyday at the shop xx
I've visited this beautiful tea room since opening a few years ago. Most recently, my daughter organised a surprise birthday afternoon for twenty family and friends. Quality of food and service just as excellent as always. One guest came from Bolton in Lancaster and commented on the quality and reasonable price Cannot recommend enough.
