After visiting the amazing Haus Der Berge museum, we went for lunch at the restaurant next door. The waitress was very welcoming & spoke good English. She was very helpful selecting something suitable for our gluten/dairy intolerant son. The menu is very interesting showing lots of other local businesses, delicacies etc. Most of us had soup which was lovely. The view from the balcony is fantastic & the inside very homely.

NEIN! "ErmäÃigung gegen Vorlage Reservisten-Ausweis?" NEIN! "Ãberhaupt keine ErmäÃigungen?" JA!

A fantastic range of icecreams, sorbets, cakes & beautiful looking chocolates. We only had icecream & sorbets but they were delicious. The young man who served us was very friendly & spoke excellent English. He was also helpful pointing out what was suitable for our gluten/dairy intolerant son. Wish we'd been able to get chocolates as they really looked lovely but we were just about to start on a long car journey!

The Cafe Niedermayer is a combination bakery and cafe located in Ramsau at the intersection of Im Tal road and route 305. While vacationing in town for a few days, we had the opportunity to visit Niedermayer multiple times. The bakery has a wide variety of goods for sale and seems to cater largely to the carry-out crowd. There is an arched doorway on the east wall of the bakery leading to the cafe, where one can sit and order from a breakfast and lunch menu. The cafe is attractive; both light and cozy. The wait staff was generally friendly, and some speak English. The breakfast menu offered a variety of set breakfasts, as well as a la carte items. The meals were tasty and prepared quickly. A note about timing one's visit: one day we got there late in the morning, during an hour or so when orders were no longer being accepted from the breakfast menu and not yet being accepted from the lunch menu. The only option then was to go back into the bakery section, select pastry items from the counter, pay for them, return to the cafe, and one of the staff would then bring the items to us, and we could then order tea, orange juice, etc. to have with the pastries. There is parking by the building, but it is sometimes pretty full as the to-go customers come and go. There's another 6 or 8 public parking places on the north side of Im Tal road, across from the Niedermayer building.Note that as of early May 2019, the intersection of B305 and Im Tal road was under reconstruction and required some caution when negotiating the street in front of the cafe.
