Called in for something to eat mid morning at Sainsbury's Biggleswade en route to London 04/01/2019.Menu very basic.Cashier on the till never gave eye contact with customers and appeared miserable.Dirty trays and plates on tables.Glass panels on the balcony area were very dirty with hand prints and smears.Cooked food was lukewarm.Deep fried sausages in rock hard baguettes.Pots of tea were tasteless.Apparently the Ladies toilets needed 'attention'!Sadly, don't think we will be calling again!

This used to be my favourite tea shop in St Neots and I met up here with friends quite a lot. However the last two visits have been rather disappointing food wise and I haven't been back for awhile. The cake selection was much more limited and the Victoria sponge I chose had a lot of synthetic tasting cream which I scraped out and left.Last visit I chose scones but the jam was merely red and I couldn't detect a flavour and the scones have shrunk to a tiny mouthful size. This may be perfect for a morsel between meals but could you not also offer a full size scone for those who want one. It was the same great ambience and service but the food is letting it down ,which is after all part of the treat.

My sister (who lives close by) said lets try this new little place and we were not disappointed. The building is behind the local pub and seems to be newly renovated in a very attractive way, a very clean and friendly café which sells beautifully presented snacks which seem to be made of fresh good quality ingredients, I had a toasted panini served with a little side salad, coleslaw and some crisps it was delicious, the cakes looked homemade and amazing but I was too full for one. It's an attractive little yard with a Post Office, a Bridal shop and a bike garage all behind the pub, it's perfect for cyclists. I hope business is good because it's such an excellent little area.Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback, we certainly to try to ensure our food is fresh and locally sourced. Great to hear you enjoyed the food, our shop and the surrounding area. See you again

We spent the day around the museum and garden so had lunch here, it was really warm and we sat outside watching the little planes land on the grass airstrip. A lovely relaxing break.Food was reasonably priced, good quality and quick service despite being freshly cooked to order. a limited typical cafe menu with dish of the day, sandwiches, baked potatoes and fish and chips which we had. Good portions served. There is ample room inside and a reasonably sized terrac outside. The place was clean and tidy and staff extremely pleasant. You can call in here without paying to visit the attractions, there is ample parking, if the first carpark is full drive up by the hangar for more spaces.Despite being midweek outside school holidays it was busy, see the website there are specials for groups and bikers.Obviously on airshow days this changes.

A business meeting had been arranged in Biggleswade with someone I had never met and passed Jones' Cafe as I entered town. It was chosen simply because the arrival phone call from the car, established we both noticed it on arrival so a natural choice. The quiet interior was perfect and introductions quickly established. Nice decor, comfortable seating and good sized coffee cups made it a totally perfect choice for our needs.

The Old Kitchen Cafe closed to the public in 2017. It is now a private room within the house itself.
Food disappointing at first following refurbishment, but subsequent visit revealed lovely cakes, jacket pot and soup. Good for snacks lunch and courtyard stunning on warm day.

We visited the tea rooms at lunch time and found the food good but a little expensive for the portion size. The service , however, was good and the staff polite. The tables in the downstairs area are very close together and it is difficult to get around them.

The tea room used to be the Southill Post Office until it was closed down a few years ago. It is a jewel. We pride ourselves on home baked cakes and scones and hope that you enjoy them just as much as we do.
We had excellent friendly service in a great setting. The prices are cheaper than the coffee chains like Starbucks and Costa and the setting infinitely more enjoyable. The people who moan about the prices need to go to the big boys and get a reality check. The only gripes were the cafetière didnât filter out the coffee grounds very well and my coffee cake was lacking any taste of coffee. This can be easily corrected. All three of our cakes were nicely baked though and nice and moist. We will continue to visit regularly.

We were coming to Sandy so googled cafes in the area - we came across this one which sounded very good although it has a different name now - TAN'S CAFETERIA - and ordered ourselves 2 set breakfasts - fab, freshly cooked, quickly cooked and a big portion - we loved it - and they come with free toast and coffee/tea.My only gripe is that my boyfriend picked the breakfast he liked but it had a fried slice on (why do cafes put fried slices on breakfasts as a) they are seriously bad for your health and b) you are getting toast anyways?)...so the waitress said that was fine and he got mushrooms instead.BUT when we came to pay, the manager had charged us £1.20 extra for the swap. We explained that at no point had the menu or the waitress said that there would be an extra charge for swapping !!!! He tried to back peddle and blame the poor "new" waitress for not telling us - actually that is your job to train the waitress what is what and so she could have told us about this extra cost - he relented and just charged us the £5.50 advertised. Not impressed as this let down what was a very good experience. They also started showing people out at 2.00 pm (we got there at 1.30 pm) as this was their closing time and were turning away customers, but they did not have their close time on the door for Sundays?
