You have to purchase your food at the counter here and while waiting you pass giant cases of yummy baked goods. So may options! The soups are delicious. The baked goods are very good. The coffee nicely made though the chai latte was quite bitter today.

We visited on a Saturday evening for dinner, when the restaurant featured a performance by Sapphire Blues. Not only was the dinner delightful and the service attentive and personal, but we were surprised by the way people went out of their way to make this feel like a community place, even though most of us were temporary visitors.

Horribly rude service. Ordered a meal but changed mind and left because of incredibly negative attitude of the woman working there!!!Mmmmmmm to all of itWhenever we go to Saltspring Island, this is one of the places we always look forwarded to visiting. Every single time, we leave with a handful of books and enjoy the most delicious drinks while we are there. Manon and Alan put obvious love and effort into what they offer. Each book is thoughtfully handpicked by Alan, and the drinks that are mixed by Manon are infused with conscious energy that she puts a great amount of love and effort into. If you take the time to speak with Manon, it is immediately apparent that a tasty drink is not all that she is after, although they are also the tastiest... It is an offering of intense nourishment for the mind body and soul.I also wanted to share a deep appreciation for the honesty and openness these two bring. In all of our interactions we are always met with the genuine thoughts and feelings of that moment and time in life. I feel great gratitude for those kinds of honest connections. Good or bad. Up or down. Doesn’t matter. The ability to share what is in our hearts Is what matters to me. The ability to listen is what matters to me.Thank you Manon ❤️ for the last round of the yummiest drinks I’ve ever had. Golden milk and masala chai. MUST TRY
