DiLuna's offers a wonderful breakfast in downtown Sandpoint. They also offer lunch and dinner but we have only had breakfast here. The service and food has always been great.

We went for "breakfast" at brunchtime. Be forewarned--some of the servings are HUGE! For instance, the half-order of biscuits is enough for 2-4 people--two if you are having nothing else--four if it is a side dish. I saw someone's plate who had a full order, and it would have fed a family of 6-8 people!Their biscuits are fluffy -- a bit more cake-like. I had a salad, and it was just right. Very tasty. Be prepared to wait -- we were very fortunate and got in in maybe 10-15 minutes, but sometimes the wait is far longer. The prices are incredibly low for the amount of food one gets. We also love that they run a soup kitchen on Mondays -- nice people!

Had the quinoa fresh mozzarella salad. It was heavenly and I am usually not even a big fan of quinoa. The chef has a true talent for cooking.

This is probably my favorite place to have lunch in Sandpoint. In the center of the Foster's Crossing antique mall, the setting is fantastic and homey. Surrounded by shelves of gorgeous coffee table books on travel, decor, design and more, one can eat on a huge antique farm table while perusing the books as they drink their coffee, tea or hot chocolate. But the best are the sandwiches! They are high quality, fresh ingredients made into artistic and delicious food for both body and soul. Their soups are excellent also. They have a huge variety of specialty teas and tasty desserts. Not to be missed!!
