After spending the morning in the museum one needs to eat something. This restaurant offers the possibility quite conveniently being in the same building. The lunch is offered either as a soup lunch including a salad buffet, bread, and a soup, or a full lunch with a main course on top of that. We took the full version, but actually the soup lunch would've been plenty already. The food was good for the price, so I can recommend this place.
Where to eat Chinese food in Rovaniemi: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I found this sweet cafe completely by accident while searching for somewhere to escape sudden snow. My gosh I am glad I did!! This sweet cafe is home to a family of sweet kitty siblings. All are incredibly friendly (Ludwig is particularly friendly and we ended up sharing my cake...) and love to be petted and play. Besides the obvious greatness of a cat cafe the sweets were all home made and looked a treat. I had the apple pie slice (which was made by the owners mother) and it was amazing. They also had a surprisingly wide range of boutique teas. The whole experience was so very lovely and I was so glad to have found this hidden gem! If you are in Rovaniemi visiting or living I cannot recommend this cafe highly enough.

We had a quick lunch here, but that was a mistake. The quality of the food was not matching the price. For example, the vegetarian burger pattie was mostly mashed potato with some other veggies added, and the taste was as you could expect. The normal burger was a bit better, but also there the garnish veggies were left mostly out and replaced with a generous portion of mayo. And as a bonus, the tap water costs though it's generally free in Finland.
