Wonderful people Wonderful service Wonderful cakeMaking our daughter in law very happy with this awesome cake These decorations were perfect Thank you so very much
We needed a quick breakfast but wanted somewhere that didn't just feel like a diner. At Jolt as this place now appears to be known as, we found the perfect spot. Situated in the CBD area in an old bank type building we found an ample breakfast menu and tables or booths of various sizes and a smiling assistant to take our order. Coffee was great and our meals were speedy and tasted quite satisfactory. Although only there for breakfast, we noticed quite an array of fresh sandwiches, wraps and lovely cakes that would be most suitable with a coffee for morning tea or for lunch.

Tried here as looked to be popular, it's just in a convenient location is all that draws you in. We ordered a seafood basket for 2 ($29.90) and an extra piece of sweet lip for $8.50. Totally disappointed with what we received. The chips were underseasoned to the max, very dry, but the seafood... well... prawns were dry over cooked, calamari rings dry overcooked shrivelled pieces of rubber, worse I've ever seen, scallops, over cooked and batter fell off as soon as touched, the fish well these reflected fish bites you would expect in a kids pack. Nothing wowed us wanting us to return, totally disappointed for what we paid for. Oh an no tartare sauce arrived as advertised in the pack. Give it a miss, best to go to maccas next door if you want value for money.
Super burger! Delicious and fresh real food. Very friendly and polite staff. Tasteful decor in a classy warehouse conversion. Excellent facilities and clean throughout. Nice music and big screen tv. A very enjoyable dining experience

I really want to give this place a good review but I was really disappointed. The menu was really limited to mainly just bread, bread and more bread. I was there at lunch time but lots of things on the menu were not available. Having one hour for lunch, I ordered a toasted sandwich with no salt or pepper. I waited a LONG time - so much time I could have probably driven home and made it myself. Eventually, my order arrived with so much pepper that it was inedible....what a waste!
Beautiful food, well presented. Good variety and lots of options on the menu. Nice and healthy. Recommend the choc peanut butter acai bowl for breakfast. Coffee took a long time but it was worth the wait. Will be back !
The service provided at this motel was excellent; by being friendly and informative with information about local services etc. The room was also clean and tidy. However the room was extremely small and crowded with having a single bed plus the queen in the room. The design of the room is not smart, being that the door opens almost up to the side of the main bed and looks directly through to the bathroom, which is also tiny. Therefore if the door is open there is minimal privacy and we needed the door open for natural light as the window is small and security meshed. There is no outside seating for the room or communal seating area, so again this enhanced the feeling of being closed in.The position of the hotel is a few blocks away from the main CBD and no nearby restaurants / shops, however only a 10min walk to reach the CBD.The motel was clean and due to the excellent customer service, I feel it is worthwhile to stay for a quick stop over.
Beautiful cafe situated in a stunning building along Rockhampton's historic Quay Street. Open 6 days a week for breakfast & lunch. Our homemade cake cabinet sets us apart from the rest - all baked on site! Best coffee & tea in town!
Best food in Rockhampton. A must do. Food of an extremely high quality, fresh ingredients and an innovative menu. It is evident owners and staff are passionate about their food, and have a love for top quality food and presentation. It shows in every dish that has been well thought out. The menu offers more exciting options and choices catering to all needs. All staff were friendly and helpful and passionate about the riverston tea rooms. Indoor and outdoor dining available, plenty of space to relax and enjoy the space. Not a tea drinker myself but the coffee was great! My partner who is not a foodie by any stretch said the eggs Benedict was the best heâs ever had. I recommend the riverston forager which was absolutely beautiful and colourful and 100% delicious. Definitely returning - recommend to all

Popped in for takeaway food & coffee. Staff were very unwelcoming. Took ages to fill our order. Very expensive at $42.00 for 2 medium coffees, 2 toasted sandwiches and a slice of cake. The toasted sandwiches were $15.00 each, small and very unimpressive. The slice of pound cake was so dry (obviously from the day before and had not been properly covered with cling wrap) we threw it outThis cafe is a big disappointment. The owners need to review the food offerings and staff need to be more welcoming

Something different in downtown Rockhampton. I went once and it was good enough for me to go back again the next might. This is the sort of place you need to find when you are away on business and just want some good quality reliable food with quality service and reasonable price. This one ticks the boxes.
