Apparently the restaurant and the menu as well are renovation victims of a popular TV program. It didn't totally work. Although the decor definitely needed a face lift, the result is somewhere between a college dorm and an IKEA warehouse. As for the menu, it used to be incredible--pages long. You could always find something to pique your appetite. Now it's 2 sides of a sheet of paper. The celebrity chef who revised the menu never asked about the clientele. He decided to add Korean items because the owners are Korean. So if Kimchee Eggs Benedict is your thing, you are in luck. Several other dishes have been altered to include bulgogi and kimchee as well. Which is fine--if it didn't eliminate the dishes that the restaurant had been known for. And, there's an actual Korean restaurant 100 yards away. I had grilled salmon spinach salad with walnuts, cranberries and hard boiled eggs. It came with something I can only describe as cocktail sauce without the horseradish. So I asked for actual salad dressing and what I got was clearly bottled dressing. Service was dreadfully slow, only one server in the whole place. It will be interesting to see if the changes stick.

OK place for breakfast. Food was kind of middle of the road, but prices were fair for the quality. large volumes of food.

Newly opened cafe & bakery in Rancho Bernardo several months ago offering gluten free, corn and soy protein breakfast, lunch items, cupcakes, breads, soups, pizza, chiles, comfort food. Service was very good. My daughter in law who is on gluten free diet for the past 10 years was so excited about this place. We ordered pizzas, salads, beef pot pies, smoked salmon sandwich. They tasted pretty good. Couldn't tell that they were gluten free. Prices are on moderate to higher end.
