We have eaten here many times without any issue although this time was upsetting. This was the start of a birthday and wanted to be served breakfast rather than cook it. I ordered oven roasted tomatoes on chargrilled sourdough (£7.20?) at that price I would expect something special. The toast came burnt not charred ( I am a chef by trade and known the difference). I brought it to the attention of the waiter so the problem could be resolved. What we did not expect was attitude, this upset me and not what we expected. The dish was brought back tomatoes on bread, like I have stated at that price you would expect something special. I didnât want to upset the day further so I did not mention anything further, although we were not meal checked. Disappointing visit and if not for no problems in the past this would have been a lower score.

I have visited this restaurant many times and never disappointed. Visited to today, the soup of the day was mushroom and it was beautiful . The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent. Tried other places but still return here for lunch or a snack. Considering it is always busy, there is never a clutter on the table. They are always cleared and cleaned as soon as you leave

Went for a brunch with my daughter whoâd been before and recommended it. We were given a nice friendly welcome by the lady, Annette, who was serving us. We both ordered a medium breakfast and we were advised it came with toast and tea. The portion was definitely not small, however we both managed to polish everything off and we did enjoy. We had bacon, sausages, beans, black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms and egg, tomato, two large slices of white bread toasted and a large mug of strong tea. Also free refills were offered. The price was very good. The little cafe seemed very popular with regulars. I would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the toilet let it down. I didnât mind that it was small and compact but what I did mind was that it wasnât 100% spotless plus there was a towel - there is absolutely no way I would ever touch a regular towel in a cafe toilet!!! I would suggest the toilet needs to be on the list of things to be improved - a good clean and a working electric hand dryer would make a massive difference. It is actually a real shame that I had to mention the toilet at all. Is it only me who is so very particular about toilets ?

We have been on numerous occaisions and each time the food has been outstanding we are gradually working our way through the menu and every dish has been a delight so far. Cooked from scratch and well presented this homely little restaurant is a gem in Bury town centre. For little more than the price of a McDonalds meal you can get an authentic Thai meal, big servings and fresh ingredients. If in town give this little gem a try.
