Koskenselkä in the northern part of Finland's biggest lake Saimaa opens in your eyes, when you sit on the terrace. It creates a good frame to an excellent dinner. The Saimaa menu consisted of Puumala salmon in three different ways as a starter, fish of the day, pike perch as a main course and blue berry cock, vanille ice cream, blueberries and a bisquit as a dessert. An excellent albarino made a good companion to the fish. Warmly recommended.

Local old time cafe just few steps from Puumala piers.Old time nice furniture and atmosphere! Nice lazy at as the cashirs, tey the Finnish cinnamon buns and sweet cheese cakes. usually there is on top some finnish berries!Very reasonable prices,falling back to the old times!
