I dont want to be too hard on this establishment. It was quite pleasant and the food better than fair and the coffee pretty good when eight of us went for breakfast on Sunday.. My main issue was the acoustics...really hard to hear a conversation, particularly when the coffee machine was strutting its stuff. Also the service was too slow even though the place wasn't particularly busy. Atmosphere; country/rustic. I'd give it 6.5 out of 10.

Located in the heart of Melbourne Street North Adelaide - The Store is best known for putting on one of Adelaideâs best brunches since 1998. Recently purchased by The Greatrex family who are now putting new life into the North Adelaide institution with th
We recently visited the store for breakfast and were most impressed that they now provide table service to customers. Previously it was such a scramble to come in the front door and there was a line of people ordering in front of you, while you were trying to get to your table so certainly a great idea for table service. The service was excellent as when we were shown our table the waitress took our coffee order. I ordered Eggs Benedict and my husband had Eggs and Bacon. Its a good idea to book a table as this is a very busy venue and you can sit inside or outside. All the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We will return!

Friday lunch-tIme and this smallish cafe tucked away in North Adelaide was buzzing. Obviously well known and popular. There were four of us for lunch. Three opted for the fig and apple bruchetta (It was really more than just that) while I had the Rueben sandwich. Everyone was very happy with their meals and I can say that sandwich was very filling. Maybe a little on the expensive side but where else can you get food like this. Yes we would go again.

What an amazing little place. Nice and clean, great atmosphere, very friendly and courteous staff and fantastic food. Had 3 dishes all vegan option and they were utterly amazing. So fresh, full of flavour and at the table in a very short period of time. Not that we had room after, but felt the desserts looked too good not to try. Decided to get them as take away, that's when the lady said if 8 pieces were bought they went by weight and not individual piece and would be much cheaper. That to me is a sign of a great establishment that not only cares about but actually knows what the word "service" in "service industry" really means! Might of been our first visit but it will DEFINITELY NOT be the last.

A quirky garden cafe & bar in the Adelaide CBD, specialising in coffee, food & South Australian liquor.
I was looking forward to breakfast from the moment I stumbled across the recommendation online. Peter Rabbitâs, rightly so, is decorated accordingly, placing you in a cafe designed like a garden shed. The staff were friendly, the food and coffee outstanding! I had the pineapple and strawberry juice (yum!) and the French toast (oh my goodness...next level). The coffee was strong and well made, and I have never seen so many varieties of latte in my life...we were very impressed! Located near the university it appears to get quite busy, but the service was quick. There is also a converted vintage caravan out the front of the property functioning as a takeaway coffee stop. I canât recommend it enough, and I will definitely be returning before I leave Adelaide.

Welcome to The Messy Tomato. Much of Italian life revolves around the family dinner table. Itâs well known that Italians are deeply versed in the gioie della tavola, or âthe joys of the table.â Perhaps the first thing people think of when they think of It
Found this little gem on TripAdvisor. From the start we knew it was a winner. Funky takes on brekkie, the flavours were fresh and different to what you would normally see but truly delicious. The coffee was great and the service spot on. We even got some recommendations based on local knowledge. And the Central Markets are worth a visit

I recently headed into UR Cafe for some breakfast, on a mid-week morning. The place was reasonably busy and i was shown to a table against the wall. Interestingly, the bench seat base was made from old doors which wasnât exactly the most comfortable this to be sitting on, and the old, thin cushions didnât help much. The menus were all stained and dog eared, needing a major overhaul in my opinion. I felt like I wanted to wash my hands after handling it.But for all of that, the breakfast, standard eggs & bacon on toast was a large serve and served hot & fresh. Coffee was OK but my long black was cool before I had managed to finish it.Overall, not an experience that I would go out of my way for in the future.
